The problem is you're taking something that isn't really unhealthy (unless you add a ton of cream and sugar) and tacking on a couple hundred calories worth of edible cup.

First, I don't really see that as a "problem" in that it's not really changing anything with regards to that. You act like people that drink coffee don't eat food with it or something. How I see it is, instead of them eating a donut or whatever, they just eat the cup.

probably made of the same stuff they batter the chicken with since that taste like foam too.

I love this idea! More bang for your buck.

If what you buy isn't edible, what's the point? I hope this idea makes it way into everything.

that's overstating things. KFC barely qualifies as food

oh you get that fucking shit outta here! what the hell is wrong with you, son?

Do they even make gizzards anymore ?

I used to do that decades ago, just stop in KFC to get gizzards

I'm not a regular customer these days obviously.

LOL ATOT. Men of taste.

"I'll eat Taylor Swift, but fried chicken is disgusting.'

The bounds you will surpass to desire absolute trash in one area, then thumb your nose at it in another, is frequently baffling.

I was never pining over her, I just said I'd fuck her. And I stated in a different thread my standards are pretty low so I'm not sure what the implication is....

Anyways. I asked at work and only one person could tell me where a kfc is. Apparently it's pretty much inside of a gas station. The one I know of from years ago was 1/2 kfc and 1/2 a&w so I question the number of "stores" figure.

I think it's an interesting idea. I have some reservations about it, but would be interesting to try (I don't drink coffee though so have no real interest in it).

I was thinking there was another company that was trying to do something similar (use packaging that was edible) but can't recall what it was.

But fast food manages to sell ice cream in cones/bowls so I don't see why they can't manage to do this.

I also wonder how long before people ask for them to put like the popcorn chicken and stuff like that in it. Or their "famous bowls" or whatever that's the chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Actually they could surely make fry containers out of some potatoes. I'm kinda surprised places haven't tried making hashbrown bowls to put breakfast foods in (although I suppose it's easier to just use a tortilla and stuff it with hashbrowns, eggs, sausage/bacon/ham, and cheese).

They are pretty sparse in Kansas, but they do exist.

Lots of KFC restaurants in Kansas. Usually one or more in every town/city. Lawrence has 3, Topeka has a few, Emporia has one.. um.. Manhattan has one or two..

I live in a city of 600K and couldn't drive to a KFC right now without first consulting the Google.

Didn't you say you owned a house in Colorado Springs? Ever read Fast Food Nation? They talk a little about Colorado Springs. It's one of the most generic, boring shithole, endless sprawl examples of a worthless town in this country. You drive a mile and you'll find an intersection with a McDonalds, a Burger King, a Taco Bell and a KFC, drive another mile and the same thing, repeat in all directions. I just took a look at the KFC web site ... there are a dozen KFCs in Colorado Springs.

I do but I haven't been there since '10. That's where I could reference a KFC, it was on Fort Carson but IIRC it too was a 1/2 1/2 building. Not doubting there are "12 KFCs" I'm just saying I bet a number of those are pits that you would barely know we're there compared to say... giant golden arches in the distance or a nice Starbucks taking up 1/4 of a Barnes&Noble. I dunno if you could call them 'stores'.

Edit: You also need to get out more if you think CO sucks. Hell I'd take Grand Junction over 75% of the east coast.
