What is Microsoft's recommendation on creating Sites? 1 Server per City, each can be a site? What are the benefits?

Even though I have only one DC per City, should I still make each of those DCs their own sites? The cities are linked with fast connections (T1 and T3) What benefit can be derived from that? And what is Microsoft's recommendation for site creation?

This is for a lab, btw, not real world

Two of the three servers are GBCs. All three host DHCP and DNS. Two of them are RAS servers.
How can users/admins benefit from 3 sites as opposed to one?

have you tried looking around microsoft.com?

Try going to MSDN. It is packed with all sorts of info about MS products, you will probably find some recommendations about configuring DCs in there.

you dont NEED to have diff sites on those fast connections..... but you can. but if you do have cept sites, make sure theres a DNS and GC on each site..
