What is so good about Nathan's?

Their hotdogs suck imo, especially for the price. 6" chili dog with cheese is almost $5, and then the way it's packaged in those boxes, means that the hot dogs will fall on their side and all the chili and cheese gets knocked off the hotdog.

I like Nathan's. You should try their dogs with bacon and cheese. I don't go for the chili ones.

I don't know about Nathans at their hotdog stand, but I get Nathan's hotdogs at my grocery store all the time. They are the only hotdogs i can eat that don't make me sick from the crap that goes into them. They are pretty tasty to me anyways.

I dont remember the Nathan's hot dog joints but their hot dogs from the grocery store are pretty damn good. I try to stick with Nathan's/Sabrett/Hebrew National.

All beef, natural casing, they've got a good snap when you bite into them. Like most dogs from NY/NJ, etc, not something I'd use for a chili dog, I prefer something without that "snap" with chili, call it personal preference.

Look at the color, then look at the ingredients: No artificial colors!
Gotta be good meat in there, not a lot of fats & fillers (lips, tongues, whatever).
Look at your other brands of Hot Dogs, kinda white, but the ingredient usually list artificial colors!

Oh, and on top of all that, they taste the best!

OH! i did not even realize boars head made hotdogs. I love their lunch meat so i will defiantly try the hotdogs. To me, there is nothing better in the summer than a good grilled hotdog, some watermelon and potatoe salad! YUM!

Are there any differences between Nathan's hotdogs bought in the store and ones sold at portable stands? I've never had one from a stand but the one's from the store to me, are the best. I used to think Ball Parks were the best **LOL**

There's one of these in the Venetian hotel here in Las Vegas. I've been dying to try it, but every time we go there my GF convinces me to go to this "fine" mexican place (which is also very good, but I digress). After hearing all of this, I will make it my goal to try this goodness ASAP.

i watched some show about hotdogs on the history channel not that long ago and they showed nathan's on it. i decided to go buy some nathan's at the grocery store to try them out (damn that show made me hungry for hotdogs).

I didn't think they were anything special...didn't taste any different than the ballpark ones i've bought before.
