Animals with low brood numbers (penguins, certain birds, humans, etc) that need to dedicate a lot of resources to individual progeny. This is best achieved with 2 parents sharing the burden.

It's one of the stronger theories as to why the human female vagina moved lower and to an unexposed region (unlike with other up-right-walking primates)--inability to easily see when the lady is in estrous encourages the male to stick around longer.

Do you even know what "electricity" is? Most people don't, since the term is pretty meaningless. Or rather, has too many meanings - and those meanings conflict with one another.


As far as fake deer in the yard - We'll set up a fake deer around Memorial Day - it slows the traffic down without having to sacrifice chickens and kittens to get people to stop going too fast past our house.
