what is the best company for peripherals in your opinion?

I prefer logitec for mouse and digicam. I prefer microsoft eliter natural keyboard. I prefer Klipsch promedias for speakers.

I really like logitech products. I have a keyboard, mouse, 5.1 speakers, and the MOMO steering wheel. Love the quality and looks.

I'd have to say Logitech as well. There are other keyboards I like better, but it's Logitech for everything else (mouse, speakers, gamepad).

Depends on the product, price range, etc. Every manufacturer has a "sweet spot" where its products are superior to all others at a given price point. It's very rare, however, to see one that has superior products at ALL price points.

Well, probobly all around Logitech. I have on my main rig:

z-5300-e speakers
mx518 mouse
some webcam

I have a logitech keyboard on anotehr computer.. it's ok. My favorite keyboard company is Saitek with their Gamer's keyboard.

All around? Logitech (even though I only own a headset).

I personally use a mix of stuff - Gyration Pro Suite RF Keyboard/mouse for watching tv and lazy web surfing, a crappy dell keyboard for normal use and gaming (feels good to beat the crap out of..) and a razer diamondback for sitting at the desk or gaming.

I've had good luck with Logitech for most things. If we're giving different companies though like you did, I'd have to go with my current Onix Rockets for speakers though .

Mouse: Logitech (loved the MX700, currently abusing my MX1000)
Keyboard: Microsoft (love the natural stuff, especially the wireless version)
Speakers: Klipsch Ultras for bass, Creative Gigaworks for mids and highs. Onkyo S760/770 for overall sound in a comparable price range.
Webcam: no clue, as I've never used one.

Here's another one:
Headphones: Audiotechnica or Sennheiser, depending on mood and amping

I just wish someone made a cordless keyboard (in natural flavor) that didn't have to be part of a desktop set. My old MS keyboard is getting a bit finnicky, and while I have a corded version, I'd rather have the cordless...but I don't want to pay that much.

Another vote for Logitech. Disregarding their superior products, their customer service is unmatched. Within a month period, I called in with small defects on both my wireless desktop and speakers, and was shipped a free replacement for both without having to return the old ones.

I like logitech too, although it seems to have a nasty habit of installing a bunch of apps on my computer every time I install their software. This has happened several times when I have installed new keyboards or mice, and it doesn't give me the option of not installing it. But since nothing else seems to even have what I am looking for, I guess I'm stuck.

Yup, some weird stuff happened when I installed my MX510 mouse so I uninstalled the Logitech driver and the crap it installed concomittently. It seems to work OK without the driver, although I'm not using some of the funcitonality, I guess.

Logitech is the company that comes to mind with this thread, but I don't automatically think of a company when I need something. I just check out what's available to fulfill my needs. I think I would have gotten Klipsch computer speakers if I didn't opt for a full HT sound setup.

Had a similar experience with the z-2200 speakers...the sub went out then got the new z-2300 sub AND speakers....best $60 spent. Also have a low-end logitech keyboard, and the mx700...and eyeing the mx1000 or the mx 3100
