what? I don't OWN both cards anymore. It was a pure this for that trade... I got the 6800 GT for $300 on a hot deal back in July of 04 and I traded someone straight up for the XT... Actually the 2405 was a gift from my fiance for graduating.... but I did assit a little bit to buy it.
I bought a Dell 2001FP for $300 sold it for $450. Bought two 2405's for $860 a peice and sold one for over a grand so basically the price was $570 for the 2405... and I didn't pay for it my fiance did... Other than that though I bet you paid more for your system.

servey is more accurate in saying how many bought it, l have a 6800gt, and two x800 pros one saphire one asus, and an x800xt, l gotta say l preffer the x800xt and lve been nvidea all my life up to the x800 range, this is in the AGP slot, pce i however l would go two nvideas.ln saying that the x800xt is the best video card lve ever seen in the 32 bit areana.

$632 total for the box and I got the 2405FPW for a gift too but it only cost my fiance $570.

wtf are you talking about? 9800's are in no way crap DX9 cards. Im so tired of your constant negativity about anything ATI. And BTW, nobody in their right mind would get any fx card over a 9700 or 9800 unless he/she wants an inferior product. THankfully, nvidia rightend that toppled boat

My 9800p runs Farcry, HL2, BF2 just fine at medium-high settings. If you think it's a slim consolidation, try any of those games on the fx cards, and let me know how it does.

214 of the 319 people who responded to this poll could have said "Wow, only 36 people owned up to still having an ancient 9800P. That was a popular card, maybe the rest were too embarassed to post".
