LOL, the Voodoo 5 5500 was meant to compete with the GF2 GTS while the Voodoo 5 6000 (which never went retail) was to keep up with the GF2 Ultra. Now the GF4 MX is essentially a heavily beefed GF2 product which would make sense that it beats any Voodoo that was commonly available to all. It helps when the card is also 2 generations older, had 3Dfx actually stayed in business they'd surely have a product of the same generation faster than the GF4MX.
lol no, if u own one a voodoo5 6000 AGP can compete with a radeon 8500 , its just that good, only a few working models were made, now in the hands of former 3dfx employees and rich ppl . It costs like 6,000 AUD to buy just one card. its a killer card that leaves many cards spluttering in the dust =)
If you add a Flux Capacitor to any voodoo, it will certainly take the speed reign from any high end card. Just make sure your power supply can output 1.21 jigawatts.
