I got this gem from ebay for $20 a few years back. It's been very useful in some of my more exotic projects.

A SCSI II card made by buslogic, Circa 1996? That apparently either went for $2000 or $4000 (can't remember where I found this information and the validity is unknown)

I have two AMD XP 2500's with factory unlocked multipliers.

One is a mobile CPU, i think all the mobiles are factory unlocked.

I doubt it's pretty exotic or anything, but whatever, i wanted to post it

hmmm ... these come to mind ...

Dual 3.5"/5.25" Floppy Drive (working x 3)

IBM PS2/35 Computer complete with original setup diskette, 3COM EISA Ethernet, Sound Card, 127mb HD. I acquired it New In The Box in 1999 and it has seen very, very few hours of use since then ... works great but is too painfully slow.

DOS 2.0 on 180K 5.25" diskettes (with original labels) in the binder.

Windows NT Beta 2 CD's (before it was Windows NT)

Visual Basic (before it had any version numbers) ...

CPM DOS (on 5.25 Floppy)

Do any of these come close ????

Koss KSC-35's...
or Grado HF-1... or whatever it's called. The special "Head-Fi" edition of the Grado SR-225's.

Those are both headphones.

i have the 2400+ but i didn't consider that "rare" or "exotic." all the mobile's had unlocked multipliers which made them excellent overclockers.

If we count audio equipment we use with our computers, I'm probably the only person on AT with a matching Boston Acoustics AVP7 and A7200 since Boston discontinued their electronics line just after introducing their stuff after they were bought be Denon.

I lived for 4 years in China and Taiwan when I was young, mother chinese father caucasian. Currently we live in Canada and my father teaches Chinese at a local college. Anyway many years back, in the days of the 286, my father got a hold of an expensive chinese word processor called Tianma. Because of memory limitations and other hardware limitions all the fonts for the program were stored on a hardware ISA card. The program had a very large number of fonts and the card they were on was HUGE, like 14 inches long or so. I think the card is still kicking around somewhere.
