It doesn't fvcking matter what you eat. Your body doesn't discriminate against foods. As long as you get the right balance of nutritions, you'll be fine, whether if you get it from salads, tofu, protein shakes, fast food, pizza, fried chicken.
Go to mcdonalds everyday of your fvcking life, and only get a salad and a mcchicken, and you'll be as healthy as anyone else.

It doesn't matter what liquid I pour into my fuel tank of my car either, right?

The human body is far more complex than a car.

yeah, jesus...not all chicken is equal.

Also its not just about protein, carbs and fats either.

We have what, that one licensed dietician on this forum who does it for a living? Everyone else is barely a laymen, at best.

oh look the snot-nosed kid comes out to spew forth how everyone else is stupid.

Well I used to eat fast food everyday, if you consider Quizno's as such. I also ate McDonald's, pizza from time to time as well. That was when I didn't care about how much money I spent. Nowadays, I have stopped eating out. When I ate McDonald's for a few days in a row, I did notice my stomach getting a bit bigger. This is to be expected when you consider the fried chicken sandwiches, mayo and other things they put on them. Plus fries. And when you add on the coke, you're talking about lots of calories. Back when I ate lots of this type of food, I did not exercise so I don't know how this would affect your working out routine. Now I don't eat fast food and I do workout. I agree with the people that say that anything in excess is bad and fast food in moderation is not all that bad. If you eat fast food a few days a week, then you should be ok depending on your health. But if you eat it everyday, then you better do something to offset all those fried calories. Of course, I'm no physician so I can't verify what I just said.

If you're wondering if fast food is healthy or not, why not just eat it as much as you want and exercise everyday, and then go to the doctor after a month for a physical? You'll find out then whether fast food is bad for you or not.

mainly because the type of person that eats fast food everyday is not the type to exercises.

hell nobody is saying its healthy and eating every day is going to have negative impact. 2k calories at one sitting+other meals daily is way to much. it is bound to catch up with you sooner or later.

what most are saying is it is fine in moderation (i limit mine fast food to 1 meal a week). my metabolism is not as fast as it was when i was 18 (when i could eat 3-5 times a week and no effects).

Healthy or not is not simply limited to body weight and calories consumed/burned. You can be skinny as a rail and very unhealthy if you're eating poorly.

It isn't just the calorie content that makes most fast food very bad for the body.

That's me except I don't exercise. I already said I eat fast food everyday for breakfast and lunch. 7 days a week. Have for the past two years. Got praise from my doc at the last checkup and scored the lowest rate possible on life insurance on a million dollar policy. If you tried to apply for life insurance you would know less than 10% of the applicants receive the best rate.

Today I had two Dunkin Donuts and coffee for breakfast and McDonald's Southern Style Chicken sandwich combo along with 10 pc nuggets for lunch.

McDonald's Menu

Some of those chicken sandwiches have a good amount of protein in them and they are less than 600 calories. That is a lot, compared to a Hot Pocket, for example, but much less than a Hardee's thickburger or something that they have. I didn't know 10 chickren strips from McDonald's have 1270 calories. Wow. Well, that is depending on the size of course. When I used to get the strips, sometimes they gave me big juicy ones and other times, dry and not so good ones. I like the strips from McDonald's though.

Some professional athletes consume some 10,000 calories a day, granted they work out extremely hard and they eat good food, absolutly no crap at that level.

That's you, except not everybody's body reacts the same way to the ingredients used in fast food. If anyone wants the true answer to how their body will deal with McDonald's everyday, they need to eat McDonald's everyday and then have their body examined.

Something that wasnt mentioned was that Americans drink about 20% of their daily value in calories.

Meaning just about everyone in the US drinks soda not just everyday, but tons of it. It just baffles me how much sugar we consume. I've seen a guy consume 3000 calories in just sugar alone on a regular basis.
