What is the new generations of HDD ? 320gig/500gig/750gig/1TB ? What is best ???

500gig /1TB is newer?

and 750gig /1.5TB is the newest???

Am I right?

in my opinion no "size" is best. It just depends how much room you will be needing. If you don't plan on storing videos/music then the 320gb would be fine. Personally i use a 2tb, but I also "need" the room.

It "can" be faster but it depends more on the type of drive as opposed to the size of drive. Best thing to do is decide how much space you want to have and then decide between the different drives at that size.

In other words say you want 500GB. Look at the different 500GB's on your market and decide between them based on price vs. speed.

well.. honestly I want more than 1TB but was planning to combine a few in RAID0 to achieve the desired size..

I was thinking of the 1TB black WD... two of them in RAID 0.

They are on special now... for 77$

Or I might go with Samsung F3 1TB. Any difference between the Samsung F3 and the SamsungF3R ??
