And how much usage does it still see?

For me it is a HP dc7900 SFF desktop running Windows 7 that is used to record cable TV via HD HomeRun Prime. (Ironically I haven't been watching the recordings very much though)

Sometimes I also use it to browse the internet. It does a good job with the E8500 and GT 630 though the 4GB RAM is holding it back.

A HP touch screen all in one with a c2d. About 6 or 7 years old. Was top of the line back then, about $2000. Still works for the wife though...

My main rig is an e6600 based system I built in 2006. It's starting to fail, but works well enough.

My oldest is likely an AMD E350 I still use as a secondary HTPC in the basement. Surprisingly it's updated to Windows 10 and still works great for non-HEVC playback and cable TV playback.

Acer Aspire laptop with Core2Duo T6570 CPU. It's still crunching climateprediction day in, day out.

My main rig is five years old. My refurb Laptop is about six. Atm the rig is the mostly used system, while the notebook is mainly a spare computer for now.

Technically the oldest rigs I have in service are my Ivy-EP servers. HTPC is a 3570K but it's in the process of being replaced.

I still have a 7-year-old MacBook Air (which has been through multiple repairs through the passage of time) and I'm still using it to browse the internet and make documents.

I have an old Quantex P200MMX with a 4mb Matrox Mystique and a 2 gig IBM HDD in my basement that turns on and works with Windows 98 SE. Don't remember how much system memory is in there, but it has a floppy drive and 2x cd-rom.

I fired up my old Atari 800 to confirm that it still works. It does.
I do not use it regularly though.

Posters, when you answer this question please give the age of the computers.

I have three computers: My primary computer is an 8 year old HP Pavilion Elite desktop running Windows 7 which has well over 90% of my usage. My travel computer is a 10 year old Dell D630 laptop running Windows 7 which I use 5-6 times a year when I am going to be gone overnight--primarily browsing. My backup desktop is 11 years old, put together by a local computer shop. The last time I used it heavily was 3 years ago when my primary desktop was ruined by lightening. It is also where I do my sporadic experiments with linux so it multiboots Linux and Windows.

Age on Atari 800? Think mid-1980s in general.

Wow, some old-school P4 lovin'. Is that still your daily-driver, or did you upgrade recently? I know that you talked about it before.

My oldest rig is probably my Q9300 Core2Quad rig(s), but I don't actively use them anymore really.

I check my emails, do some puzzles and keep track of certain things in Excel on it. This is usually in the mornings. I do have a Toshiba Satellite Model C855-S5347 laptop that is running Windows 10 Home 64 build 1709 .. That has a Celeron B830 at 1.8Ghz and 4GB of memory. Rescued it from the recycle section -- it seemed in good shape there and I was able to get it up and running back to it's original Win 8 "as shipped" using the "restore partition" then did the upgrade to Windows 10 for free ... All it cost me was the price of power brick off of Ebay

Piece-built machine that was put together in 2012. I think 6 sandybridge cores/12 threads OC'd to 4.4 is still plenty good for anything I do. The GPU has seen two upgrades since originally putting the rig together, though.

I do have a 1980 vintage Northstar Horizon Z80 CPU computer -- uses the old S100 bus, is in an old wooden case, with 2 5 1/4" floppy drives. It has a naked terminal video card, which would be used with a keyboard and monitor. Has a parallel and RS-232 serial port . It runs NS-DOS or CP/M ... has only 65KB RAM .. would probably still work if I wanted to try it.

Tandy 1000 circa 1988 (approx).

I'm not sure of the exact age. My father bought it when I was 6 years old at the latest. So, late 80's. Used to type school papers on it in Print Workshop, and play a number of games, like Castle Adventure, and Sesame Street lol. I took it when I moved out when I was 20 because no one else in the family wanted it. It's currently hooked up (albeit unplugged when not in use) in my "play room" with all my retro video game consoles. Still boots fine and make classic floppy disk sounds.
