What is the oldest item of clothing you still wear?

i would have to say my retro Man United that i have had since the 90s.

I just went thru my cotton t-shirt collection yesterday and made a donation box of old shirts.
The oldest there was probably 10 years.
I'm not one of those guys who holds on to clothing forever. When it wears out I toss it, or donate it if its not wrecked.
Socks especially. I do not understand the fascination with old socks. When they get one hole in them that cannot be easily sewn shut, I throw it out. Cheap socks only last about a year for me and thats fine. I dont care. Not emotionally connected to them.

I have clothes 30 years old. Everything gets repaired til it can't be or I don't feel like it, then they become rags. Almost 100% of my clothes are bought used, or through secondary channels. About the only time I get brand new clothes is from gifts.

My birthday suit, I still wear it to bed regularly. Other than that, I have a Gore Tex jacket from the late 90s I can still wear, and my dress uniform for work is 19 years old (rank insignia and shoulder patch has changed, but the blouse/outer jacket is still the same.)

I have a green leather coat that I bought around 1992. It has my DNA embedded in it. I had tried to get rid of it more than a decade ago, but now the wife wears it.

Oh, and a Russell brand zippered hoodie from the late 1980's. The zipper is a bit of worn item but that, too, is still regularly worn by the wife. Can you tell she likes free stuff?

I have two short-sleeve button-up shirts I've have for over 10 yrs. now and they are still as good as ever. Got em at Mervyns years before they went under, and not a stitch has dropped, the fabric is as solid as it was when I bought it, and I still look good in them. No plans to get rid of them, either.

lots of t shirts.Hell i still wear fruit of the looms sweatshits from dacades ago.I have no idea if they are cotton or polyester,the labels are that faded.they have lasted well

I repaired a couple pair of socks today. I have a bunch more to do, but lack the patience to do them all at once. They were both about 25 years old, but not continuously worn.
