<< Basically why I'm asking is I want to heavily customize my next car much like how I have done up my computer. However I know very little when it comes to working under the hood. I can/have done: changed battery, changed alternator, adjusted clutch pedal height (previous owner had it practically to the steering wheel) and changed the oil. I want to be able to completly disassemble the engine however & do some serious modding to it, but don't want to jump in over my head. Anyone have some tips for this? I currently own a 1989 Pontiac Lemans & I thought it would be fun to like add a turbo or something like that to it (maybe put it up to 100hp!!!, lol). >>
If you're gonig to be modding the car, don't get a toyota echo because it's simple, get an old mucle car from the 60s. They're simple to work on, and you'll have a lot more fun with one of them then a pontiac lemans.
