What exactly is the composition of human consciousness? What separate a dead body from a living body? For all of the scientific explanations for parts of the human body, no scientist has given any real explanation for what the soul is. One theory is that consciousness is composed of the electromagnetic pulses being fired within the brain, and that this constitutes the substance of the soul.

Life and not life can sometimes be a little hard to determine in truth. When exactly is a person alive and not alive? It really is a matter of your definition, not some nebulous concept of a soul.

the soul is an immaterial substance, hence it is not possible to locate in one's body, though it is closely related to it. a good question to ask is how something immaterial, like the soul, can interact with the body. if you find the answer let me know
