I look at the Teabaggers like they're a drunk at a toilet... oh, man, do they have to piss.... so bad... and they whip it out and SPRAY all over the place, 99 percent of the time missing the target... And then once done, stand there, covered in their own urine and cry out, "I showed that toilet!!!"

Why are the Democrats attacking the tea party if it's nothing more than Republicans dividing the votes among their own party? I can picture you actually supporting and HELPING them aciheve their goal in that case.

Because for some the issues at hand matter more then being a partisan tool.

You do have a point but I do not think you guys get that tolerating intolerance (and stupidity) is taking part in a way.

I do not know what is worse, a bunch of worked up angry old people grossly misinformed or a bunch of uber extremist old angry people grossly misinformed and massively financed by corporate interests.

If they don't identify themselves with a "certain political party," then why did they come into being when Obama took office? Where were they to protest expanding deficits and government spending under Bush? If they oppose "tyranny," where were they to oppose the patriot act, the use of waterboarding, and unprecedented levels of government secrectiveness in the last administration?

The truth is that radical right movements always gain traction when a dem is in office. This is parellel to the rise of militia movements under Clinton.

The usual suspects preaching their hate. Good hate of course because progressive hate is founded in truth and intellectualism don't you know.

Putting Tea Party in a thread title is akin to putting Palin in a thread title here. Both churn the bowels of the far left in ways unimaginable to conservatives.

Why just yesterday at the National Prayer Breakfast Obama attended, where he thanked God, where he talked of the power of prayer and the effect it's had on his life and how it guides him daily, I couldn't help but think of how alike he and Sarah Palin truly are. Very inspiring. Why the left would fear a movement like the Tea Party movement, one endorsed by Sarah Palin when Obama and Palin have so much common ground is puzzling.

If you can't see the difference between Obama and Palin I don't know what to tell you. :\

A lot of people have finally woke up. Years of new wars and spending have sent people over the edge. They voted for a man who promised to clean it all up.. but he's done nothing but the opposite thus far.

Bullshit on tea baggers voting for Obama. I've had a few Emails passed to me from their likes before the election and they were certainly not voting for Obama. As far as the 'awakening'. Incredible on that timing, eh?

It's absolutely hilarious to see when the 'other party' is in power how people react, especially people on the forums. It's like the blinders all of a sudden get put on and their hands get tied behind their back. Oh no.. god forbid if someone speaks out. You'll be labeled a racist and whatever group you're with will be labeled with sexual innuendos. Pathetic. Step away from both parties and look back.. see how they're exactly the same and offer nothing but more of the same. Increased power grabs, more spending by the trillions. In the next few months when we get involved with another new war and the dollar is further weakened, continue to sit on your hands.

No, you are pathetic with your disingenuous reasons for hating the government only just now. How convenient YOUR club sat on their hands until the (D)'s regained the White House. You guys are transparent.

Actually, after she joined the ticket, McCain's poll numbers took quite a jump for the better. If anything, she brought him back within range instead of dying off completely.

LOL... Yeah, until everyone discovered she's a moron with a pretty face. Palin was McCain's last big hit before the overdose of stupidity killed him.

Keep talking. It's only igniting We The People to donate and win elections.

Please keep insulting The People. It's only motivating them more. My office full of black, white, middle class folks are getting so involved in politics. People that never ever talked politics, never got involved, never cared.

We've pledged 500 bucks each in contributions to candidates. Folks that never ever cared about politics, they're pissed off. And this is just folks in my office, about 15 of us which is 7500 bucks. This is an office of about 20 people who pledged to take this country back.

Please keep mocking, only makes us stronger.
I see you're speaking for 'the people' again? Just form your militia and get it over with.

It's no coincidence that the Tea Partiers sat on their hands through 8 years of Bush, who just happened to trample the US Constitution in a number of important ways (warrentless wiretapping, trying to suspend habeas corpus, etc., etc.), ramped up deficit spending to unheard of levels, implemented TWO rounds of stimulus checks that probably came close to Obama's stimulus package, and finally presided over the biggest economic implosion and implementing the TARP program to bail out banks, investment firms and insurance companies.

And yet, not one Tea Party protest throughout any of this.

And yet, once Obama is in office, the outrage level cranks up to 11.

You know, it's really REALLY difficult to take people seriously who engage in such bald-faced partisanship. And that's why I laugh at the Tea-baggers and their pathetic little movement. 99.9% white, Glenn Beck/Sarah Palin worshippers with no leadership, no clue about where they're going, no agreement on what their cause even is, just a bunch of white paranoid conservative morons climbing on the short bus together because they're all so angry (about something... something they probably saw on Fox or read on Breitbart.com or some complete load of BS they read on World Nut Daily) and that seems to be sufficient to unite themselves.

Yeah ... Good luck with that, gents.

I guess the Democrats are standing for right instead of dishonest tactics.

Very well said. This can be applied to the non-Teabag conservatives who have been acting like they've been in a coma for the last decade as well. Pretty much why all their frothy invective means absolutely fuck all to me.

They want to bring Sarah "Trainwreck" Palin along? LOL, let them go right ahead I say. These nutbags won't get over themselves until they lose a couple more elections apparently.

While I agree about the hand-sitting and Palin being a moron I think the disdain for Obama is greater than even Palin can undo. All you need to do is look at Scott Brown for that.

There is no municipal garbage pickup where I live. Each household must contract with one of the several services that work in our area.

I was with Service 'R'. I was not happy with their work. They picked up the garbage only about 75% of the time they said they would. When they did pick up, about 40% of the time they left garbage strewn about. About 80% of the time they picked up, they left my waste wheeler in the ditch. Depending on the weather it would sometimes fill up with snow or rain, it was always filthy and it was a real chore retrieving it from the ditch when it was muddy and sloppy.

In talking to neighbors in my rural area, I found that others were having similar problems. Few of us were happy with Service 'R'. A new garbage service became available. Service 'D' sent out fliers and put ads in the local papers saying that they were fully capable of correcting the errors of Service 'R'. They told us all that they understood what the problems were with Service 'R' and that if they got our business, they would change the way things were done. They told us their methods would be transparent to all and that they would save us all money on top of it.

Virtually all of us signed up with Service 'D'. It quickly became apparent that Service 'D' was not only operating the same as Service 'R' but that they had lied to us. Their level of service was not better, it was worse. They would not answer the phone or return calls. To top it off, they then raised our rates.

We were really unhappy with Service 'R' but grudgingly learned to live with it. But after being promised the world by Service 'D' and finding that it was just more of the same, that was the last straw. We formed an alliance and let the township officials know we were unhappy with Service 'D' and wanted them out.

Representatives from Service 'D' then wanted to know why we were complaining now. Why they trumpeted, had we not done this to Service 'R'?

We just laughed and laughed.

Quite possibly. Part way through it I lost interest because I knew that no explanation was going to work for those that have their minds set on what the Tea Party movement is about.

If one is convinced they're solely a bunch of middle aged white racists, then no explanation as to what got them to the point in time where they organized is going to suffice.

For the hard core that believe that Government is the sole answer to all problems, there is no explanation for the Tea Party movement that can be comprehended. So rationalizations must be made. Those that understand the movement are laughing at those that don't. There's nothing sinister about it.

Maybe After the census, and during the task of drawing new congressional districts, this question will come up a lot...

in other words...you have no explanation. Just saying you "understand" the tea party movement doesn't mean shit.

There is no coherent message, no platform, no mission, just a bunch of angry white people. I don't think anyone has ever said that the TeaBaggers were "sinister"

Angry? yes Delusional? absolutely Ignorant? of course!

but not sinister.
