What is the WORST movie you've seen?

All my top stinkers have already been covered, but I'm actually GRIMACING reading through this thread. I must have been blocking a lot of these movies from memory (Mario Brothers... aieeee!)

Obviously you need to redevelop your sense of humor. KP rocked! If you watch the dvd, go to the special features and listen to what the characters are really saying in the movie?even funnier than the dialog you heard in the theater. But hey, people who did not like KP probably do not get the humor in movies like "Top Secret!" or the Naked Gun films.

Most films released today are crap, regurgitated crap at that, designed with marketing toys and soundtrack sales as the priority, not plot, character development, or a sense of wonder about the world.

It seems that the only good films being made nowadays are done by people who get total control (like M. Night Shamalamadingdong or whateverthehellhisnameis), or small film companies that do not have to cater to the masses or Hollywood egos.

Exception: LOTR, of course...

Saw it with 3 friends at college, and we all agreed it was the worst movie of all time.

Supposedly this thread is about the worst movies <U>ever</U>, yet I see a bunch of halfway decent titles. I mean, movies like TMNT The Movie and Mortal Kombat 2 might not have been awesome pieces of work, but they weren't the worst out there. I would think that the worst movie would have absolutely no redeeming qualities. Mortal Kombat had some cool action doubled with, at the time, awesome special affects. And I grew up watching the TNMT movies. Hell I had the MC Hammer TNMT Jammy Pants and the soundtrack tape. Point is, these movies were decent and had a redeemable quality. There are millions of movies that are not even of this caliber. Hell, turn on Mystery Science Theater 3000, you won't see Mortal Kombat 2 on there, you will see movies FAR FAR worse. You won't see them dissing The Titanic, Time Machine, or Kung Pow.

Personally, I genuinely like several of the movies in this thread. Which makes me wonder if I am just more optomistic than most of the people here or what. I'm sure if they listed the movies they liked, I'd also like those.

I'm posting this because the original movie was one of my all time favorites and the sequel was one of, if not the worst movie that I've ever seen.

My vote goes for Caddyshack II. What the he*l was Dan Akroyd thinking by doing an impersonation (very poor one I might add) of Bill Murray's character (Carl) in Caddyshack? He was supposed to be his cousin or something, so why couldn't he come up with an original, but goofy character on his own?

Caddyshack Duex also had the typical sequel faux paux's. The gopher was cute in the first movie, so why not expand his part in the sequel? Wrong..

I'm sorry.. Jackie Mason is no substitute for Rodney Dangerfield either.

Woah dude I don't know what kinda movies you like, but quite a few of those are great movies! Specially Ninja Turtles 1 and The Score.

kung pow == worst movie evar. okay it was funny the first time that lady did the weird noises, but the second and twentith time were annoying as hell. i think top secret, naked gun, hot shots, etc very funny, but kung pow was just crap.

I have witnessed the worst film ever created - and its name is MOULAN ROUGE!

My wife and a friend of ours talked me into watching this thing - after the first 10 minutes I just kept thinking "what the heck IS this???!!!!"

I guess I am not "cultured" or "artsy" or whatever you people are that "GET" this film - to my it is just a plain waste of time and annoying as heck!
