Mine was either a bruised sternum, broken right wrist, fractured ankle bone. Anybody else?

When I had my gall bladder removed, they had to leave a hole open on my right side so the interstatial fluid could drain. They attached a plastic tube/bag to it, and every few hours, they would have to apply suction...I have experienced nothing more painful than negative pressure in my body cavity! I couldn't push the "pain button" fast enough...

I was crusing on my moped when I was 15

head light went out on the road and went to pull into a parking lot

could not see the parking block - hit it kinda head on not exactly perpendicular though

threw me off the moped and had on only shorts & t-shirt & helmet

knees, elbows, fingers, back all scraped up

the WORST pain was getting the rocks cleaned out of the wounds at the doctor

I leaned my entire left arm top of a 450 degree toaster oven (I thought it was off, I was wrong). The thing blistered right away all up my arm, and I had to soak it for 3 hours in cold water so that I wouldn't be in excruciating pain. Overnight, the blister popped and I had to get it removed by a doctor. He took a razor (like the old fashioned kind) and scraped it off, and even dug into some of the raw skin beneath it. He gave me codine after that, but it was no help, the pain was incredible for the first two days after. I kinda got used to it after 2 days. My left arm was wrapped for 3 months before I had enough skin to take a bandage off. Even then it was very sensative to heat and pain. Five years later my whole left arm still has a slight discoloration on the bottom.

Probably fracturing my wrist and being kicked in the balls (not at the same time).

I heard kidney stones are horrible.

I got a boil on my leg. That hurt like a motherfvcker.

Doctor pulled 3 CC's out of it.

Second would probably be dry socket when I had an infected wisdom tooth removed. Thursday I get the other three pulled.

I think arm/leg pain is less severe, because I can sort of get my mind to "ignore" it as if it's not affecting me (Granted, I still feel it, but it helps).

The worse kind of pain, in my opinion, is inner body (heart, other organs, intestinal, etc) or inner head pain.

Mine would have to be when I fell out of a tree and broke my left leg and my right wrist. Yeah..I think that just about takes the cake. Ouch.

1. falling on the crossbar/handle of my bike - i didn't get up for a while
2. breaking the two metacarple boned in my right hand, index and middle, and the index got twisted around, so when the doc told me to make a fist my finger went sideways... kinda funny to watch

For short term pain I'd say one of the following having a catheder put back in after it came out, not having enough local anestetic during a surgery or having a nerve hit during a spinal tap. For longer term pain I would have to say brain tumor.

I broke my left arm twice when I was little, around 6 and 8.

Then last year snowboarding I messed up my rotator cuff pretty bad. I was going pretty big off a jump and I was off balance and BAM I landed with all my weight on my left shoulder. That hurt. It's still not healed perfectly but I hope I don't need surgery. That would be SUCK.

My tattoos and piercing were nothing compared to a dislocated patella. Paramedics were so proud of me cuz I didn't cry a bit

I'd have to go with torn ligament in ankle or kidney stones. I'd say the stones, it felt like Mike Tyson was punching me in the back.

When I broke my hand. If you're gonna punch someone (only if they deserve it) make sure they don't try to duck it. Punching someone's forhead is about as bad as punching a brick wall. For 8 weeks I had 2 visible knuckles. And yes the guy deserved to be punched, he pegged me with a golf ball sized rock and then picked up dog crap and threw it at me.

Viper if you don't wanna get dry socket take the antibiotics the surgeon prescribes for you. Also try rinsing your mouth out with warm salt water several times a day. It seemed to work for me.

You want painful? Hows this... I was rollerskating with a friend at this construction site for a large office building. There was a nice large flat newly poured concrete floor, so we decided to go skate around. Well, I was going to fast around a corner and wiped out. On the ground, there was a piece of wood sticking out of the ground (some sort of marker I'd guess) about 1 1/2 inches long by 1/8 inch wide by 12 inches tall. Well, I managed to come down with my right forearm right on top of this fairly sharp wooden stake, and drove it right through my arm (in through the bottom, out the top of my forearm) :Q. My friend literally pulled me off the stake, after which my dad took me to the ER where they had to do some serious grafting and fixing. No long term damage though, just a 2 inch scar on either side

The antibiotics won't help dry socket, unfortunately. I did everything like they told me to, and I still got it.
