What is the worst physical injury or pain that you have experienced?

Hematosis in the left knee, behind the knee cap.

4 Surgeries I've had, broken fingers, flown from moving objects @ 50Mph, been shot @ less than 20ft away, and hematosis is BY FAR, the worst pain I've ever experienced.

Then there is women... they are in a league of their own. But Hematosis, is 2nd.

oh yeah i forgot i've had a ruptured calf muscle. I heard something go POP when i was in the air playing basketball. Also had someone sucker punch me in the back of my head near the ear...can you say "what? i can't hear you?"

I worked in a sawmill.

Saw a guy peel the skin off his finger with his ring.

Saw a 2X4 shot through a guys inner thigh (he was still picking splinters for months after).

Guy had his upper arm pinched between two rollers with 1200PSI pressure, didn't break it but popped the flesh like a zit.

Most pain I had there was I had a stiff piece of wire stick into my knee joint a inch or two. Swelled up huge and couldn't walk on it for a few days.

Catheder and cystoscopy in the same damn day, and then having to start/stop/start/stop/start/stop urinating in front of an XRAY machine for 10 minutes after the two of them

Second would be having a tetanus shot injected directly into an open cut deep into my thumb! Fscking thing hurt ten times as bad as the cut itself

2 instances to speak of:

1st: I got my wisdom teeth taken out and developed an infection called "dry socket". For those of you who know what I'm talkin' about, you know how much this sucks azz!!! I couldn't sleep for 3 days straight and I just sat in a chair with ice packs on my face for those entire 3 days. I wanted to shoot myself.

2nd: On my first day of skiing in Michigan I got the bright idea of deciding to tackle the baddest black diamond hill at the restort. The name "Awful, Awful" should have registered in my head, but I was blinded by my own possible glory. Just wanted to be able to say I went down one. Needless to say, I didn't make it. Made it about halfway down before I hit a bump and went head-over-heels. I probably fell, tumbled, rolled, for a good 200 yards down the mountain. My skies, poles, hat, glasses, and 1 boot exploded off of me after the 1st 100 yards or so. I ended up tearing some ligaments in my knee and shoulder. To top it off, I had to crawl back up the mountain to retrieve my stuff. My knee still really bothers me some days.

The morale of this story: Don't be blinded by the glory!!!!

I've had my big toenail ripped off by a flying shoe, stepped on a rock size of a quarter that then had to be pried out of my foot, had my arm cut almost to the bone by ragged sheet metal, had all 4 of my impacted wisdom teeth cut out at the same time,gotten a tattoo on my shoulder blade and none of these events combined live up to the pain I experienced when I got salmanella food poisoning. There is no pain on earth comparible to the feeling that your insides have when you are suffering with it. I spent a week in the hospital with it when I was a kid. I was hurting so bad that you could hear me screaming down the other end of the hall. It was awful.

I've had 3 broken fingers, a dislocated finger, 22 stiches on my face, killer migrains, and my wisdom teeth pulled, and bad asthma attacks. The worst had to be sprained ankle though from rock climing (actually goofing around below). The most pain by far, while walking up the stairs, after words. It was incredible. Now that I look at sweetrobin, Snipa, tagej, and itk007, I feel like a wuss.

I can't think of any memorable physical pain that I've been in. Boot camp was a b!tch, but I don't remember the pain all that much.

[*]Hmm, looked at a steep 13stair. Rolled up to it a couple of times and got ready. All cameras were filimg and I went for it. Ollied it, boned out totally. Landed, my legs gave out and slammed foward into the ground. Scratched up my face and almost broke my chin. Hurt like a mofo.

[*]Trying to crooked grind a rail going off a ledge. Leaned over to far and the rail ended up in between my legs .

[*]Trying to kickflip long gap going downwards into the street. Caught my board perfectly in the air, bailed my board and landed on my ankles. Rolled em so bad, I screamed like a girl.

I had my arm broken three times and several seizures, etc, but I think the worst pain was when by accident boiling water was poured on me as a child.

Second being when a doctor botched knee surgery with me. I stayed up the whole night afterwards holding onto the side of the sofa shaking. Damn, that hurt.

I ran into a barbed wire fence on a 4 wheeler wide open when I was 5 and had my tounge completely cut into 2 seperate pieces, was surgically re-attached. Also, the wire cut a hole on my lower cheek and you could stick 5 fingers through it into my mouth.... Almost no scars and I speak normally Also it broke my collarbone from the fencepost....

Damn, I'm feeling kinda lucky...worst I had was when I crushed my finger (not broken) as a kid, or maybe when I tried to jump to a tree and missed and fell back, but nothing too bad. I hope I don't have it coming to me.

Got shot in the balls at VERY close range with one of those 3-man water baloon launchers. It knocked me out. And when I woke up I vomited. Extremely painful.

Personally: Several broken bones from my HS & college wrestling days, fell 4 flights of stairs straight down through the center and hit my head (really wacked the old TMJ out of kelter) on the way to a fraternity late night "lineup" (had only 5 minutes to get there or suffer the consequences), passed a kidney stone, been catheterized (errrrrr ....), but I think the worst was when I had a drain tube in my eardrum and the Dr. tried to remove it in his office (rather than the OR) using this forceps-like instrument. Tube didn't budge, thought he was tearing my eardrum out of my head. Called him and his nurse some names I don't think they'd heard before. Only thing that mighta been worse was when I was about 5, I sat down on the back bumper of my dad's VW right after he got home from work and proceeded to drab a tailpipe with each hand.

Witnessed: Saw a guy lose his arm in a stretch bender (metal forming machine). Worst though was the guy I saw get smashed in a huge stamping press. Not pretty.

Easy...falling down 3 flights of stairs.....tearing 3 ligaments in my foot..and that was my only injury that and knowing 100 ppl just saw me fall down all these stairs..
