Got an afternoon to spend in Oakland or areas near by (not SF)
Been to jack london sq. any other places to visit like parks or nice places for a date?
(finishing off the evening with an A's game)
You could go to Chinatown and check out some of the restraunts, lots of good places. You could also do some boating on Lake Merrit, but keep in mind that it looks a lot better at night when you can't see the green water
don't think we'll be sleepin together
do you guys know where music tunnel karokee is at? i am not sure, my friend says its by a chinese mall, only mall i know near berkeley is one in Richmond/El cerrito. is that the one?
was told karokee places in Oakland are much cheaper than ones in SJ area. (where i'm in)
yakko, dunno wut u thinking.
james, not sure if we're eating stadium food if not, dunno where these places you mentioned are.
what is the chabot science center?
I can see why SnakesnFrogs has a bag over his head. Probably should be a white hood.
If you're into shopping try Piedmont Avenue or Lakeshore Avenue. I happen to like flea markets and Oakland has two that work on the weekends. Not as large as that commercial deal down on Berryessa (sp?) in the south bay. Le Cheval, which someone else mentioned is good (downtown area). Also good is Mexicali Rose -- a local institution. The trip around Lake Merrit is about three miles. Try Alameda if you haven't been there.
go to the rockridge or monclair distric from some cool shops,...u can take a girl to fentons icecream....lots of stuff ask me on yahoo i use to live in oaklnd for almost 13 years
