I couldn't tell you what the two prongs on the tip are used for though...no clue how that would be useful...maybe for gouging, twisting holes?
Maybe, but a woodworker would have a variety of chisels to better handle that task.
Although I can't tell by the image, the teeth, though serrated, aren't serrated in the same fashion as a typical saw.
It should look like that above, left to right alternating teeth so to easier cut in a straight manner. The teeth look to be facing in a single direction so I highly doubt it's a saw.
