Reading through this thread, I find it comical how many "macho men" find it repulsive to actually care for your own body.
Just like all the contractors and home-builders I've seen with nearly-bloodied cracked/chapped hands... and I think, you know how easy and better it is to take care of that? I have to use crazy lotions for my hands because of dry skin (Neutrogena Norwegian-formula products, especially the concentrate).
As for all the "aftershave, in this day and age?!" types... what the hell do you even do about razor burn? Do you go red-faced and rash-ridden all day? If you want that look, good for you I guess?
Or are these types actually just fortunate to have good skin that doesn't need anything to tame the skin after shaving? If that's the case, I'm definitely jealous.
I tried regular after shave type products, and my face cannot tolerate those - made it worse. Nivea Post Shave Sensitive Balm is where it's at (might be better, but I like that one at least). I did use Neutrogena's face lotion for awhile, but discovered Nivea's stuff works far better.
I don't want any scents, if that's what all the "after shave?!" types think about the stuff. I'd prefer no scents, unless I wear my cologne.
