Do you guys get the real Havana Club in Florida? I would assume it's illegal.
I've personally never ran into it myself, kinda why I posted the Appleton thing up there above.

I'm pretty sure there would be some floating about, but not something I've looked for I guess.

However, I have ran into some cigars now and then

Lately, it's been my blueberry wine. I wasn't a wine drinker before, but a nice glass of it goes down really smoothly. The apricot wine is very smooth and tasty; I'm just not a fan of apricot wine. The apple needs more time.

Interesting question, but the more interesting question is -- what do folks that have multiple DUI's drink ... while driving?

As an American of Irish decent I know I should be more into Whiskey but I've never been very fond of hard alcohol, though in my youth I did tend to consume inappropriate quantities of Tequila.

For quite a while a drank Corona beer and didn't much like the stronger flavored beers, but back in 2009, while waiting at the Richmond International Airport, I had time to kill and there was a Sam Adams pup in the terminal so I gave a Boston Lager a go and ... holy crap it was good. Been drinking it ever since.

Spent some time in Japan and discovered a beer there called Yebisu Premium -- also wonderful.

A beer. As for the kind...depends on the season, and depends on which breweries I'm in the mood for as well. I love all kinds of beer.

A few were asking about black spiced rums earlier...my buddy and I regularly drink Kraken. Goes down pretty well.

Depends on how I am feeling and the time of year. In the winter I will usually drink whisky mixed with a little something to take the bite off. Whiskey and ginger is a longtime favorite, but lately I've been turning more and more to the whiskey "old fashioned."

On a hot summer day though my favorite drink by far is the Mojito. Quintessential summer drink. Cool, light and refreshing. And if done well it can knock you on your butt in short order.

Ale

Particular styles I'm very fond of:
Stouts/Porters (Imperial, Coffee, Oatmeal, Chocolate, Dry, and/or Double, Vanilla, Barrel Aged, Belgian)
Belgians (Lambics, Geuze, Quads, Tripels, Saisons)

And, to some extent I'm also very fond of (but not quite as enthusiastic vs above)
Pale Ales (APAs, Black IPAs, IPAs)

If money were no object, cognac. High-end cognac ($300+ a bottle) is absolutely divine regardless of distiller. Sadly, money is an object, so I'll go with bourbon; lots of variety and relatively cheap compared with something like Scotch, plus it's more versatile for cocktails. If I had to pick a single alcoholic drink for the rest of my life, a traditional Old Fashioned (no fruit, just whiskey, bitters and simple syrup with a twist of lemon for garnish and a single large ice cube so as not to dilute the spirit); simple, elegant and delicious at any time.

I would say my favorite drink was the 2004 Cristal. It is getting a bit harder to find in my neck of the woods though, as the 2005 is what is being sold and I'm a bit weary of buying online. I have lately been enjoying some Veuve La Grande Dame. I've been really meaning to try Armand de Brignac, but haven't found it anywhere.

Seven Tiki is nice, got a pretty subtle banana flavor and smell going for it.

I'm not a huge fan of any type of alcohol (it all tastes strongly bitter to me), but I'll drink a lambic or an imperial stout from time to time when I'm in the mood. I've yet to find a non-beer alcohol that I'd want a second sip of.

I can vouch for sailor jerry being great for the price. $20 for 750ml. But I'm no expert on Rums. I thought it was smoother than the numerous amout of bourbons I've tried. Mine was served on the rocks. A lot of folks like their rums mixed with coke, this to me is nasty and defeats the purpose of the original drinks taste. In a nutshell, If i'm going to mix a rum I'd just get the cheapest out there.
