What is your favorite discontinued soda?

I never have liked diet sodas, but my favorite one ever was probably Diet Mandarin Orange Slice. If it was cold enough that stuff tasted great!

Other discontinued sodas I liked were the original 7-up (new stuff is good too but I like the original more) and Crystal Pepsi. Good stuff! Coke II was interesting but certainly not the best.

I dont remember Pepsi Light, but here in Minneapolis we have Pepsi Twist now. It's just lemon Pepsi.

Yeah . . . interestingly, in Indiana I could never find it in the grocery store, only in the fountain at places like Mancino's and Burger King. Here in Colorado it's in the stores, also. I like Pibb better than Dr. Pepper.

I live in Dallas and when we go east (towards Longview, Daingerfield, or Caddo Lake), almost all of the gas stations I see out there have black cherry "Jolt".

yea, i still have some "orbits" on my shelf... if you put a light under it they fly around in there... it's pretty cool! so i used it as a "lava-lite" type deal for a while, and fear ever drinking it now!

i know this is not discontinued, but the Dr. Pepper with the real sugar in it is the best. A freind of mine had a case of it shipped to my house for my birthday. I still have the empty bottles. You can buy the stuff at the Dr. Pepper museum in Waco, and there are a couple of other places too, but i'm not exactly sure where...

Don't know if this is discontinued or not, but I have heard of 7UP Ice Cola. It is supposed to be a clear cola like crystal pepsi was.

Here in the Silicon Valley we can still get Mr. Pibb, Squirt, RC Cola, Jolt, TAB, Surge, and Crush. Shasta is definately 3rd on my list of all-time favorite discontinued sodas. Crystal Pepsi is not. That stuff was NNNNNNNNNAAAAASSSSTTTTTYYYYY. If that drink was a Porn Star her name would be Ronchie Rita. It was disgusting... Anyway, Pepsi-Light (mmmmmmmm lemon...) is number 2 (and I still put lemon into my Pepsi/Coke to this day!). But my all time favorite was this Chocolate soda that I used to drink tons of around 1987-88. I can't remember what it was called, but I do remember asking my mom what lab rats and cancer were after reading them in a little paragraph on the side of the can. Maybe that's why it was discontinued? It was tasty though. But THE most nectar soda ever is a drink I had in Australia called LIFT. I actually brought a case home with me... That stuff is NICE! You can find it in Mexico too. Sugar Cane Dr.Pepper is good too, but it's very hard to get outside of Texas. Hmmmm, too much soda knowledge... Must get 12 oz. can!

We still have Shasta in Minnesota! They are usually sold loose in the store so you can mix and match among the like 20 flavors.

Have you have Pepsi Twist? It's new and similar to the Pepsi Light.

I still love Tab. Glad they brought it back. So chemically tasting! More caffeine than Coke too!

i remember back in '95 i went to this liquor store on highway 10, between blythe and pheonix, and they had this soda that was 1/2 sprite, 1/2 dr. pepper. i think they called it dr. sprite, that shiz was damn good, although i only had 1 can. now when i want some dr. sprite, i go to one of the soda tabs and mix the 2.

they stopped making it because the only people who drank crystal pepsi were the ones who would have been drinking normal pepsi anyways. so basically, they created a new product that only competed with their other product, meaning they lost a whole bunch of money.

i read that in a busines mag somewhere.

and whats the deal with the red mountain dew? they were supposed to release the stuff like a month ago, and you can still only get it in 20 oz. bottles.
are they ever going to fully produce it? or is it going to go the way of crystal pepsi?

damn! i knew i should have patented it:|... i came up with that one like 7yrs ago.. my buddy would buy sprite, i'd buy dr.pepper and we'd mix it up
