Nothing but my preworkout. I've been intermittent fastening for about a year.

Or lava bread on fried bread. But thats probably a bit much for anyone not Welsh!

I'd try it. On your previous pic, it showed breakfast sauce. What does that taste like?

Finally, for breakfast I make myself, my favorite is probably tater tots covered in shredded sharp cheddar, and topped with two or three spams, and a couple scrambled eggs that had spicy adobo added while frying. All topped with black pepper, and sometimes hot sauce.

Lava bread is boiled mashed seaweed. Its fried in bacon fat and served on something crunchy! It tastes a lot better than it looks but the texture can put a lot of people off!
That breakfast sauce is a bit like HP sauce (which I can understand not being a helpful description! ). Its more savory than ketchup with more vinegar but still sweet. Do you have Branston pickle there? Its vaguely like that.

I have to point out that thats not my breakfast in that picture, I dont have orange juice with it unless im hideously hung over. I do eat at that cafe though and they do a good bloody mary to go with breakfast!

I'm familiar with HP sauce. Kinda thought that's what it was like due to the color. I found lava bread[sic?](laverbread) on wikipedia. I was intrigued. Foreign enough to be exotic, but familiar enough to be right :^)

Oh. and I never have citrus juice, especially orange. Too thick and sweet. Coffee, and maybe water. If I'm on vacation, I might have some vegetable juice, but not usually.

Now that's my kind of breakfast! I could eat that entire plate. What is black pudding? Is that blood sausage? What about white?
Black pudding is blood sausage, white pudding is fat and oatmeal mostly. Its pretty dense.

One of the advantages of working nights is that you can have a beer as your breakfast beverage!

I would love to try that. I eat lot of seaweed, raw and cooked. I eat lot of things that people would think is gross or nasty. As long as it tastes good, I'm game.

I think its the same seaweed that they use to make sushi wraps, or at least a very similar one.

White pudding sounds tasty. I like both fat and oatmeal. And I LOVE blood sausage. In fact I had blood sausage soup for lunch today. My wife brought home some blood sausage from the market today. So thawed some homemade beef bone broth I had in the freezer and added some garlic, green onions, and blood sausage to the soup. I used spicy chili and salted fermented shrimp to season the soup. It was out of this world good. Using salted fermented shrimp to season the soup is the KEY. It just goes so well with the pork in the blood sausage. I will be making this again and again. I just need to make some more bone broth. I used up my last batch for blood sausage soup.

You can find the salted fermented shrimp at Korean grocery store. I always have some at the house. It goes awesome with anything pork. I use it when I eat smoked pork butt. I add that in my lettuce wrap as condiment.
This is what I have.

This is what it looks like inside the container.

The top right in the blood sausage soup picture is homemade radish kimchi. Radish kimchi goes great with any type of soup. The crunch and the texture of the radish is great with soups. Different kimchi goes better with certain type of food. The top left in the picture is dried anchovies sauteed in sugar with walnut and sliced almonds.

This is picture of beef back rib with glass noodles soup I had couple weeks ago. Above the soup, there are 4 different types of kimchi. My wife made all four. I can't take any credit because I'm clueless on how to make kimchi. But my wife is a master. I just eat it. I love the stuff. I even thought about starting kimchi business and selling it online and to stores.

And not all kimchi is fermented. The green onion kimchi in the picture is fresh. That's how you have to eat it. If you wait until the green onion is fermented, it will go limp and won't be crisp. In the middle there are two different types of radish kimchi. The top is big white radish sliced into cube shape. The bottom is smaller ponytail radish sliced into quarters with the stems and leaves intact. You get two different texture with this one, crunch from the radish and soft and chewy from the stem and leaves. The kimchi on the right is cabbage kimchi and there's like million varieties of that as well.

I guess this is as good a place as any... here are some of the breakfasts I had in Australia. I ate so well over there. Maybe I'll finally make a thread with some pictures from the trip - I'll get started on it tonight.

Qantas flight, a few hours before landing:

Landed at ~5a.m., got to the hotel around 6a.m., met our regional sales rep at the top floor of the Intercontinental for even more breakfast. Had a big plate from the buffet, but didn't take a picture.

They have weird names for cereals over there. "Oy! Get me some Rice Bubbles, ya cvnt!"

After my co-worker and the sales rep. flew back home, I had about four days to myself. Here was my first breakfast alone, at City Extra on the Circular Quay. I love that place (both the restaurant and the location). There's nothing better than getting a table alone at City Extra at ~9p.m., ordering a Vienna coffee and a pastry (they have great Pavlovs), and just watching all the people walk by as the boats come and go.

Before I go any further, I have to say I freaking loved the "long black" coffee over there. I later found out it's basically an Americano.

Here was an extremely filling breakfast I ate right before doing the full walk from Coogee to Bondi Beach - took me a few hours to do the walk and I was still full when I got there, but I still managed to eat a whole half rack of ribs, fries, and beer.

The beans were underneath all the stuff, making the toast nice and soggy.

My breakfast, again at City Extra, before going to the Museum of Contemporary Art. When I was halfway done with it, a freaking seagull landed on the plate and pecked at it. It almost got a full pancake before I shooed it away. The extra toast I ordered was way too much, so I was a little thankful for the seagull ruining my meal.

Breakfast on the Qantas flight back. Sorry about the lighting, just woke up.

Crappy breakfast on the domestic United flight home. Figures.
