What is your favorite PC Game?

What would you say is a better RTS out of the current crop of games?

I dont like Starcraft btw. =P

I was thinking about getting that Rome II game but it appears to have been one of the buggiest turds of all time.

Men of War: Assault Squad 2

Single player is horrible, but multiplayer blows CoH 2 out of the water. Not even close.

Favorite? Fallout. The original, not those Oblivionized pieces of sheet that pass a as Fallout nowadays.

Second favorite is the original Company of Heroes, and third comes Vampire Bloodlines.

Games that really enamored me the most on the PC through the years:

Quakeworld/Quake 1, Baldur's Gate II, Warcraft III : TFT, World of Warcraft in the early years. (2004-2007)

There have been a lot of great games since.. But these are standouts in terms of really taking up too much of my life. World of Warcraft just isn't the same now to me after TBC. It was so great and mind blowing at launch though.

Fallout 2 was all over the place, inconsistent and unbalanced. It had more content, sure, but Fallout 1 was always the better finished product.

After that, and in no particular order, Civilization (the original), Master of Magic, Command & Conquer, C&C Red Alert, Half-Life, Starcraft, Warcraft III, Terraria, Skyrim, CS:S, and probably a few others that I'm forgetting.

Civ 2 was an excellent game, it just doesn't hold as much of a special place in my heart as the original did. The original Civilization is one of the first games I ever played.

My favorite games:

NOLF2 (I wish this game was on Steam. Damn Fox for owning the game and doing nothing at all with the license or even the older games.)
Tribes 1/2 (Titanfall can't even compare to these games in their heyday of 64-128 player matches with omg vehicles that involved doing more than always being able to fire weapons)
Dragon Age: Origins (DA2 was a lazy game, but if you ignore the repetitive levels it's like one decent storyline instead of the bajillions of great stories in DA:O)
Dishonored (one of the few games I've played and then replayed in its entirety again a second go to try bloodless)
Mass Effect 2 (ME3 was meh.)
Diablo 2 (damn Blizzard for screwing up Diablo 3)
Starcraft (damn Blizzard for screwing up Starcraft 2)
Saints Row 3/4 (they were two halves of the same absurd game)
Tomb Raider (2013) (because I never particularly loved the way the original Tomb Raider games played I could enjoy the newer one's take on Uncharted)

Those are the games I consider my "favorites" atm.

In a curious sequence of events I ended up with a free digital copy of titanfall. I was skeptical since its a MP only game and I hate playing with other people. But having played an hour of the campaign, I am enjoying it. I have urged some of my coworkers to get it too so I can play with a dedicated group, instead of running around aimlessly.
