Hearing the snowblowers fire up in the morning is nice. I like hearing the birds on a sunny morning, or the tiptoe of my 3 (soon to be 4) year old as she tries sneaking into our bedroom :biggrin:

I will agree with the people talking about the sounds related to fresh snow. i am actually excited waiting for the first snowstorm so i can wake up to the early morning sunshine glistening on freshly fallen snow. There are not a whole lot of things more satisfying in life then that to me.

Otherwise i actually enjoy waking up to silence because that means i got to sleep in and didn't have to get rudely waken from my slumber by my alarm clock.
