What is your go to TV news source?

So I was thinking about this and just wanted to see where most people get their news. This is a private poll so if you chose FoxNews you won't be chastised. LOL

If something big is happening real-time (ie: 9/11 or an election) I'll flip through the major networks (NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS). Otherwise I utterly ignore TV news.

It is BBC that I check for news.

RT is entertaining for its propaganda. It's like Comedy Central, except that they are serious.

I usually don't really watch news but at work we usually put it either on CBC or CTV.

I typically get my news through the internet these days, forums, Facebook, reddit etc. Probably not the most reliable sources I guess but if it's in more than one spot it's probably reliable enough.

Don't watch TV. I like NPR. BBC bothers me. A lot of it's the theme songs for their American feed(dunno if UK is the same). It's jarring, irritating, and repetitious. There's also one particular show I dislike, but don't know the name. It's a "hardball" type thing, except the reporters ask softball questions, and are cunts about it. Hardball reporting isn't about being an argumentative wise and beautiful woman. It's about asking tough questions, and not letting the people slide past them.

I watch CP24 here in Toronto when I want to see what amateur hour looks like.

I get my international news from BBC or Al Jazeera. Canadian news is getting as bad as the States.

If we are going to pick apart what we say is news and what is not news, then fox news should not be on the list of options since they contain only propaganda and no actual news. CNN should be excluded since they present only nonsense. And Comedy Central should be on the list since Stewart and Colbert bring light to actual facts and events and do things like fact checking.

That said, I do not use the TV for news really, I have access to aggregators like fark or news.google.com. Also. I often throw the radio on WBBM Chicago News during some time of my daily work commute.
