What is your old favorite game on PC?

Doom. Doom looks pretty good when you run Doom95, which lets you increase the resolution to 640 x 480. I just played this game today, and I still remember all the levels.

I also really like civilization (CIV II).

I'm still amazed that Dune II is not in CGW's Hall of Fame.

Jeff7--Yep.....it was sure an ear-opening experience getting my first $160 SoundBlaster mono card and finding out that Dune II actually had sounds.

Crusader: No Remorse and Crusader: No Regret were pretty sweet.

there's another game i used to be addicted with but can't remember the name anymore. It's war strategy game you get to fight against opponents like ivan the terrible, suntzu, napoleon, etc using units such archers, barbarian and knight.

Flashback, so unbelievably good, nothing these days comes close... damn gotta get myself a new Amiga.
Dune 1&2, completely different gameplay, but I loved both of them.
The XCom's are in on the list, obviously, unlike most people(it seem at least) I like both of them.
Fallout 1&2, damn they're good.
Freespace 1&2, see above
Loom, good ole game I played on the Mac a long long time ago, damn good adventure game
Syndicate, Syndicate Wars was good too, but the original is better.
Elite II, wonder why I didn't think of this earlier, definately one of the best games ever, and I played it on the best computer ever, my good ole Amiga, PC's don't hold a candle to Amigas
