Vista is my primary O/S, but I probably run Ubuntu as much, if not more. Vista is where I do my primary computing, but my 2 secondary boxes which I don't do as much work on, but are more for entertainment are Ubuntu. My next full install I'll use Ubuntu or Debian as my primary O/S, and keep Vista, or maybe Win7 for the occasional game.

My main machines at home and work are Debian installs, my home install is probably 8 years old now and has been transplanted across several machines. Since sid is a rolling release I just update it a few times a week and I'm always current. The work machine is a Mac Pro, it has OS X on it as well but I have no idea what version since I haven't booted it since I got the thing. I really just needed it in order to install rEFIt and get Debian installed. =)

Ironically and sadly, I'm posting this from my Win7 notebook that I have for work.

Linux Mint 64bit = 60%(home main rig doing anything but new gaming)
Vista 64bit = 25%(home main rig, new gaming)
Windows 7 64bit = 15%(laptop gaming)

Would be running all linux if i could and am even getting most of my older games running on linux now.

Toss-up, I use 64-bit Vista Ultimate at home, 64-bit Win7 Ultimate at work (with WinXP Mode installed to run our point-of-sale client software, which stupidly only works on WinXP).

These days, I spend most of my time on my Win7 Ultimate x32 box. If I was doing more gaming, I'd be spending a more time on my nearly-identical XP Professional box because I have flight simulators and joysticks that won't run under Win7.

I have to agree, debian is my primary server OS so I spend a lot of time on it, and it's getting old now similarly I've just been moving and updating for a good five years no. Debian is undoubtedly my favourite Linux distro.

Windows 7 64-bit. Against my usual mantra of no early adoption, I went with that pre-release $50 upgrade license deal on the egg. Can't say I've regretted it. Using a Vista license I had for a couple months really makes one appreciate W7.

XP Pro most. My HTPC box wouldn't support a more recent MS OS. My Vista laptop died (about 6 weeks ago) after having it for 14 months, before I got around to installing its Windows 7 32 bit upgrade disk. Two of my laptops have XP Pro CoA's, so I guess they'll remain XP machines. I got another laptop recently (using it now), and it supports 64bit OS's, so I installed Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate, since I have the disk. Just getting into it. Haven't dabbled in Linux distros, but am tempted to try one on one of my laptops in a dual boot scenario. Don't have a reason to do so other than curiousity and wanting to have a good look at a non-MS OS and broaden my horizons.

I use XP on a 10 year old laptop for regular browsing. I use Vista 64 on my gaming laptop. I use Windows 7 on my gaming machine.

So, basically 3 OSes at the same time.

I preordered Win 7 when they had those special deals. Still haven't installed it
I'm happy with Vista SP2 and just can't be bothered with upgrading, it's an unnecessary hassle. I'll move to Win 7 when I get an SSD, since I'll want to reinstall anyway, and there's TRIM too...

My main OS is already Debian even at work and my primary gaming machine is my Android phone, which is also Linux. =)

I'd use Ubuntu or Debian. Ubuntu now, and Debian later after Canonical finishes dicking up Ubuntu :^D
