You ocean haters should really check out the "fvck the ocean" thread I linked .

By the way, just to assauge all the people with "the fear of being rejected after having sex because of my small penis", don't worry. When they find out you have a small penis, odds are most just won't sleep with you in the first place.

(small penis krew fo lyfe)
(also it's not the size, it's how you use it. Cliched but true!)

I have a small phobia of the dark. At night I feel like things are following me. I also have a phobia of deep water. Also have a phobia of heights and flying. And a fear of getting sick, throwing up, etc.

Couple things, drowning because I was a lifeguard and competitive swimmer so the thought of drowning just freaks me out...I think it's a lack of control thing.

Lions freak me out too...whenever I goto the zoo I can't goto the lion exhibit...that one I don't know why they scare me but they do.

And flying gets me nervous but it's not a phobia. I guess it's because I watch Lost religiously and because I'm flying LA to Sydney and Sydney to LA in September

Needles. I ****** hate needles. Maybe not a phobia, as I'm not deathly afraid of them so badly that I'll refuse a necessary injection. I absolutely cant watch them do it. I've had many bad issues with them in the past. I've even snapped at doctors or nurses once they start asking me "what my favorite sport is etc". JUST ****** DO IT. Dont tell me when, dont tell me how, dont tell me it is or isnt going to hurt, just blindside me with it and get it over with.

You'd like me as your nurse starting an IV. I just look at you, say big poke and shove that needle in your arm without any sorts of warning...

I've found about 95% of my patients like it that way better than talking to them while they do it.

You'd like me a patient, because you'd have to catch me first and/or treat and monitor me when I go into shock after you pull it out.

Honestly, I can say that progressively losing one's vision and hearing over the span of a few minutes is a very traumatic experience. I already take one anti-anxiety drug daily, and I need another plus benadryl to amplify the side effects to get an IV, and it still takes a few people to hold me down.

Thats ten times better than the last nurse, who missed the vein in my hand 3 times, which was indescribably painful despite the vast amounts of morphine running through my body. She ended up putting it in my arm under my elbow, which made it impossible for me to bend my arm, which in turn, made eating the sorry excuse for fried chicken they served me damn near impossible.

I rarely miss. I'd say working a 12 hour shift on a normal day in our ER I'll start a dozen or more on average....the other night I started about 3 dozen and missed once that night...

Inner city trauma hospital experience means I can start IVs like some people drink water

I've seen a leg degloving injury....could see part of his femur and his quadriceps muscle group was just hanging to the side

They managed to save the leg(and his life for that matter)

Ah I thought of something.

Hillary getting elected. That it is even a possibility, that she is even a potential candidate, scares the sh1t out of me with regard to where this country is headed.

LoL. My GF is a nurse in the ER and also pulls 12s...she has been half-joking/half-seriously wanting to start an IV on me for 3 years because of the veins in my forearms. It's my motivation for staying healthy.

I used to be this way to some extent. At least I didn't like the feeling of floating on my back in a public pool in the deep-end. It was just a vulnerable feeling for me. Not being able to touch the ground with my feet, feeling vulnerable from underneath I think. I used to think maybe I was killed by a shark in a past life, if a thing such as reincarnation exists =)
