What keeps you going in this screwed up world of ours? What makes you desire to live each day?

Mostly right now I want to go to Australia for a couple weeks. I'm saving up so I can go. No girlfriend to worry about, no job to worry about, no school to worry about, just relaxation. Thats what keeps me going, the thought of going on vacation somewhere nice.

Ohh but errr umm more seriously? Nothing really. But I don't consider life to be so easily defined as "living" or "dead". There's really that gray state inbetween where you're just kind of "there" but you're not out living life or anything such as travel brochures would stereotypicalize life as being.

I fit into the gray area anyway. I just live life and do whatever... no real reason behind it.

I don't know... The sun rises everyday, so I get up and get ready to go to work. I am not suffering from depression or anything, but it seems like life is very perfunctory for me now. Just studying to be a CPA, so I can satiate my career and financial goal. Perhaps my view will change once I have kids (single right now), but I just live because I am alive.

I don't particularly think that our world, or society is the most rotten, or so rotten that it would drain the life out of me. If it ever gets to that point, I think my motivation would be in trying to better it in anyways I can. Never a quitter.
