The chimp's curious to know what you guys are using out there. I'm looking to upgrade my system with some cool peltier/water-cooling as soon as I can. Share your fat HSF combo and narly cooling here!
I have a Katmai PIII 450 o/c to 1.13 Ghz on the stock heat sink with the thermal tape. Oh, yeah, and it's submerged in $1000 of Florinert. Just kidding.
Nothing yet, but I got a few 120mm fans; going to cut a hole in the side, and on the top of my Enlight 7237 case. Also built a little blower assembly that goes in a PCI case slot. Neat thing about it - it only cost me $2.
Bought a little blower, and epoxied it's exhaust hole over the hole in an old video card bracket. Nice, cheap little sucker...er, blower.
alpha pal6035 on my tbird 1.1@1.15 (and it's a week 53, how sorry is that? ) w/ a 120mm alum panaflo intake, 92mm exhaust, and 80mm PSU. not much, and stock since the case is brand new but i guess since my chip is barely OC'ed it doesn't take much at all ;P
Zipperhead, kickass setup! I was thinking of the Q500 for quite a while, but after I saw yours, it just looked so pretty that I bought it could you elaborate on what you did? or what you have or anythin? I remember seein a while back that you used antifreeze or something...thanks!
80mm blowhole(out) on top-middle, Sunon 92mm intake on front bezel.
I'm going to add 2 92mm or 120mm's on the side above the motherboard, inset in a window I'm also gonna add. (Right now there's also a window on the top, looking at the motherboard. I plan to add neon.)
When I get my A7V in the mail (PostOffice is crap, 4 weeks worth of crap!) I'm slappin' a Swiftech 72W peltier setup on my Duron600. I'll get watercooling going soonafter.
Sweet setup Zipperhead. I'm glad to see other people routing all the cables behind the MB Tray for a clean look. I love the water setup, but I just don't have the balls for that yet....
