Yeah, I know quite a few people who have expressed the same sentiment.

It would be a good move for Pentax, help them develop a niche.

Canon 50D, bought as kit for $1250 when the kits were normally going for $1500. Used the kit lens to learn a bit and kinda smudged the coating on the front of the lens so too lazy to sell it cause someone's gonna lowball me for sure when I mention the discoloration even though it doesn't affect picture quality.

Went Canon cause my bro got a Canon and it makes sense investing in, and sharing, L lenses.

I got a Canon 16-35 f/2.8 L MK1. He's got a 70-200 f/2.8 L IS MK1. Other lenses we have are not really of note.

I used to have an Oly E-500 with a Zuiko 14-54mm, that lens was amazing, best I've ever used. The body topped out at ISO 400 with only 8MP though, terrible. All my camera gear and my best picture were stolen from me by two armed crackheads in Brazil.

I got a D5000 kit and sold the kit lens for a Tamron 28-75 2.8. That kit didn't cost much more than the E-500 did back then.

Also have various flim cameras, E1, Diana Mini, an old chinese camera and a fujifilm.
