What kind of fan comes with the q9450?

Hey all, I tried searching for this but I keep getting conversations about warnings that OEMs don't come with stock fans...

I bought a E2160 a week ago to hold me over until the q9450 comes out. If I bought the OEM Q9450, could I just use the fan that the 2160 came with (along with some thermal paste?) or is the 2160's fan not good enough for the 9450?

Anyone know?

You could probably try it and see how high idle temps are without frying your chip. I don't know whether it would have the cooling power it needs under load or not. If you're planning to overclock I would definitely get a new heatsink anyway.

most likely not, but last time I checked you could get a good aftermarket unit for around $20. Arctic cooling is good, check cases and cooling forum for other options.

I wouldn't recommend using the e2160 stock cooler for any quad, even a 45nm one.

Point taken! Thanks for the quick responses. By the way, I just called Microcenter in VA, and they have 22 OEMs in stock. Also, if you have an American Express, you are protected by them for an extra year on top of whatever the manufacturer and retail outlet provides. I have 4 years on my plasma because of Amex.
