So, what is this metal that we are not allowed to buy, but if you have a particle accelerator, you can make that is used in Hydride.

So, why is everyone not down on getting everything converted to this, like right now.

Also, what kind of energy is produced by hydrogen compared to gasoline, say horse power and torque comparisons. Would it have enough energy released to run a truck pulling a camper over a 25% grade, as compared to a gas or diesel engine.

You need to look at energy on a mass basis. Look here:

The main problem with hydrogen currently is that it takes much more energy to effectively "create" hydrogen for usage (from what I remember).
