On stock cooling, you're not getting much more than the XFX 7900GT XXX (560/1650). You might get 1700 on the memory, so around GTX 512 speeds. But with a good cooler, I'd say 580-600 on the core, 1750~ on the memory.

Well, considering the'll be in watercooling with OCZ Copper RAM sinks on the RAM, I'm thinking I'll be able to achive a nice overclock from it. What you think?

Volt modded boards usually hit 650 (GT voltage is 1.1, GTX voltage is 1.4 and it's a simple conductive pen job to mod it) and if you take the volts higher you can get up to 800 and beyond on pretty moderate air cooling.

AFAIK the GT voltage is 1.2, and the voltmod (that everyone is talking about) brings it up +.2v to 1.4v on vgpu. Also, it can go to 1.5 on basically the same mod (+.3v).

Also, if you overvolt the RAM to 2.2, they also hit insane speeds.

At 1.4v the norm (and I havn't tried it "yet") is ~650/1900. ABOUT THAT. However, most people are backing down to ~650/1850 on the ram because of stablility.

BTW, whats the stock voltage for the RAM?

2.02, I think. Pencil mod gives you 2.23 I believe.

I am stable at 658/1860 w/ OCZ copper ramsinks and VF700 in silent mode using AS5. I'm not going to spend any more money on cooling so that I can achieve higher clocks. Once I get my second step-up card overclocked to these speeds and combine the two for SLI I will be more than happy.

Ya, and you're a bastard! You have the golden card that I so desire (two of them, actually!)
