what kinda cell phone do you have?

i've gone through more than 6 cell phones within the last two years and wondering what everybody else uses.

My first celly was a nokia 6160, then i switched to the motorola startac, then the nokia 5160, and i'm on my second nokia 5165, all on the same great service with AT&T.

I've had one for the last two years, and I'm actually starting to lean that way too.
It's more of an inconvenience than anything, when people are calling you every three minutes.
I can see using one on the highway in the middle of nowhere(where I live), just for safety.
That settles it, I'm canceling my plan, and selling my 3390. Anyone want to buy it?

since 1999 i've had the sprint pcs touchpoint dualband. i think its one of the best form factors ever, good size, a cover for the keypad (half flip sorta), you can use the joystick to control almost everything. won't get a new phone until the 3G ones come along.

Samsung SCH-8500 w/ Sprint PCS. Nice and small (surprised I haven't lost it yet), had it for almost two years. Doesn't get annoying, since only a few family members have the phone number. I use it mainly to call my parents or other people back home when I need to ----> no long distance charges. Don't use it for much else though.


Just wondering though, how did you go through six cell phones in two years? Breakage? Stolen/lost? Unhappy with phone?

It seems to be similar in appearance to Nokia 6360, but that phone is not yet available in USA. Also, it's spec-sheet doesn't mention Bluetooth or GRPS, so it might be lacking some of the features found in the euro-version.

forgot to mention my phone has bluetooth, grps and 256 colour screen, can record 50 voice names in to voice dial (don't use this but you can) and can also record 1min and 40 seconds of a convosation....
