Perhaps this lineman has a false start problem and was told by his coaches that he would be running 100 suicides if he ever again moved before the proper snap count.

Obviously, the ball was not snapped on the right count (as all four of the non-centers did not move immediately).

He took the coaches warning it to the extreme, possibly to show up the coaches or to show how well he listens.

Are there any quotes from the lineman or coach about this posted anywhere?

I've seen this work before-- where the O-line is basically trying to help the refs out. Defense will move before snap (offsides), O-line will freeze to show it wasn't a false-start, it's basically a free offensive play while making it REALLY obvious to the refs that it wasn't the O-line's fault. Unfortunately wasn't the case here.
