What makes you feel old?

That fact that my brother is going to graduate from HS next year I thought I would be done with college by this time. When he got his drivers license and when I become an uncle thanks to my sister.

There's a lot of things that make me feel old, but crappy pop culture isn't it. Graduating college and getting a job, for instance.

Having a semi-crisis myself.

I remember getting Warrant: Cherry Pie...the casette.
Remembering when MTV was cool and Jenny McCarthy was my dream girl.
When I turned 18 I could go into a casino (not sure if laws varied state by state but was changed to 21 shortly after my birthday).
Gas was 99c/gallon
Voltron and Transformers were my favorite cartoons.
I get laughed at and weird looks when I talk about Magnum P.I.

I'll be 30 this year so I know I'm technically a youngster still....but damn I'm starting to FEEL old.

Lately, I'd say what makes me feel old is my hair thinning even though I'm only 27. Gonna be sporting a nice bald spot by the time I'm 30. Bleh.

I work at a summer camp that I attended, and many of the kids I work with were born after I started attending the camp! That and hearing about people born in the 90's going to college.

Getting old doesn't bother me as much as the speed and acceleration rate that it seems to be happening at as I've gotten older.

My child is going to be born any day now.

I have a job that requires me to be available to respond to issues 24/7.

I see hot girls that are looking real good and then I realize they're 18 and that I'm 11 years old than them

I'd rather stay in than go out partying all the time now. Drinking to get drunk is no longer fun/enjoyable.

I enjoy cooking killer meals and using my grill.

I'm getting old

90's music>all (grunge is what "good" music really is). The sreamy metal sucks btw. Try symphonic metal (like Within Temptation for example).

I work with 25-35 year olds at work, which is great to be able to say that at 22 I'm doing what people 3-13 years older then I am, and it makes me feel the same age as they are.

You want to feel old OP? Get married and have a kid. I think those two events aged me like no other.

I used to go out on Thursdays with the guys from work and could show up to work on Friday a little tired but functional. Now if I have a few drinks I wake up the next day drowsey and out of it.

These days 11:30 is waaay late. I used to not even go to bed some nights.

I'm 31 now and not getting any younger.

Back when I was still dating (married now), I was with younger girl and we were at a get together. Many of the people there were my age and somehow we got on the topic of watching the original Star Wars movie when it came out in 1977. The girl I was with just HAD to needle me in front them when she said "Gosh, I was 3 months old when that came out .."

Silence filled the room for a moment and then the others just started laughing at me getting pwned by my own date THAT made me feel old.

At least until later that evening ...
