the memory is 2 sticks of 256 MB. The PSU is an Enermax fan monitoring 350W.
I would like to know what mainboard/chipset you guys would recommend for easy/stable/around 2.2-2.3 Ghz overclocking.
For now I am thinking of using the oem HSF, but if better ones are recommended I would switch. Also, do I need those heatspreaders for the RAM? sounds kinda ridiculous...
If possible, the mainboard must have USB 2.0 and scsi controller. I dont want to have to sacrifice USB, and I have a ultra2 hdd and a fast scsi cdrw that need scsi controller. If I just get a pci-scsi controller, I dont know how that will go with the overclocking (increase pci speed? no?). I prefer Asus, but then again I have never overclocked so I dont know.

Just read the article by anandtech that only intel 845g chipset supports DDR333 but not the 845e. The 845e can only be pushed to run DDR350 or something like that...not standardized. The question is...will the Asus mobo for the 845e and newly bought samsung 2700 DDR333 ram work if I overclock the RAM?? what about ram heat spreaders? thanks.
