My 19" Envision went on the fritz recently, it was a really great monitor actually, it actually beats sony G series monitors that cost twice as much. I figure its time to go LCD and since i have a 17" widescreen laptop, i'd figure i might as well go widescreen on desktop as well. I curretly have the 20" Dell and Samsung, and 22" Viewsonic. The cheapest is the Samsung, it seemed decent at the store but not breathtaking. The Viewsonic they have it online for about $350, and the Dell, well everyone knows about that one. I generally like how the Dells look as a couple of my friends have it. I'm a stickler for color accuracy though and have been disappointed with the poor contrast ratio and color gamuts on most of the Dell 17" Laptop screens. Has anyone seen the Viewsonic 22" screens? They seem pretty rare. I'm going to be mostly doing image editing/photoshop/digital photography, and Warcraft III/FFXI (I pretty much only play those two games). What do you guys think.
