Question What monitor-sync for Intel integrated graphics?

What monitor-sync-type for Intel "UHD Graphics 630" integrated graphics in an i5-9xxx Coffee Lake?
** Namely, do Intel's CPUs support FreeSync or G-Sync? **
** Or Adaptive-sync, Fast-sync or V-sync? **
They include something called "Quick Sync Video", but that is something totally different I think.

I'm planning on 3840x2160, 30-35inches, 60Hz.
No gaming, no movies, just web-browsing.
I know I might not need Syncing if I'm not gaming, but I'm trying to future-proof for an eventual GPU card upgrade.

What kind of Sync would an i5, 9th-gen be most compatible with?

Yes, current Intel on-die GPU from Coffee Lake support 4k/60 fixed (non variable) refresh rate, when running from an HDMI or Displayport output on a compatible motherboard. However, support for higher refresh rates is a bit hit or miss depending on situation, as some monitors only support their '144' or '165' etc mode on one of the inputs.

I know 1440/144hz fixed also works, though obviously just for desktop OS smoothness of operation, not actually fast gaming lol.

For your 4k/60, just make sure you get a current-gen well reviewed HDMI cable from Amazon (cheap, 4k/60 rated HDMI 2.0/2.0+). Often people run into glitches trying to use a cable from who knows when that might be left over from back in the day, and 4k/60 is a lot of extra bandwidth vs the old days. It's not impossible for an old cable to just work but it's better to have the ease of mind with an officially rated current one.

CURRENT 8th and 9th gen Intel iGPUs are not compatible with any adaptive sync technology.

Though I expect their dGPUs due out next year will support the AMD Freesync, or VESA Adaptive-sync. And I wouldn't be surprised if their iGPUs go the same route over the next year or two.
