Spiderman did not have as many eye pleasing scenes in it as AOTC did. When i watched spidey for the second time around I noticed that there were not a whole lot of action sequences and many scenes dragged. I could watch AOTC over and over again purely for Yoda Both were enjoyable and on the same level but I would watch Attack of the Clones again.

Spiderman sucked it's worth a DVD rental but it wasn't what they hyped it up to be. AOTC EP2 rocked and I will see it again. I know some people don't like SW but if you do you will be impressed and it's well worth the time.

How is Star Wars EP2 Attack Of The Clones if you are not a star wars fan but want to see it maybe?

Just watch that Truimph Video clip and you can see why ATOC would be so popular here at ATOT. Those in that line for the premier are typical of the average ATOT member.

I liked them both, but I'll probably go see clones in the digital theater in Schaumberg, Ill.

you dumped her because of a damn movie...WTH!

that is just a parody....the hardcore star wars "geek" fans are not the majority , regular casual fans who just look for a good time are also there....star wars is ingrained in the american culture. people who live on hating it are the true geeks ,looking to blindly snap up any movie that is released with comparable numbers because they have a big identity crisis problem. Majority of america are fans of starwars....spidey was a pretty fine movie that was well done by sam raimi.....but aotc is 10X more on entertainment value.

just my $.02

Spiderman was hands down a better movie, but I'd rather watch star wars again. The special effects in it were more ambitious, and I think that you can get more from a second viewing of star wars. Heck, I might even like it more the second time since now I know just how bad the dialogue and writing in it was. Since I would expect it to be such a "vomitorium" of cliches and bad acting, I might be able to better appreciate the good scenes, of which there were many (just not enough to make it more than a 2.5/3 star movie).

a big deal is being madeout here without any reason, there are many moments in the original trilogy if originally released now people will laugh at it.....problem is it has been 25 years since starwars was released and during this time the movie was ultra analyzed and parodied in every possible way.

Spiderman had fun through the whole film, there wasn't much you were left bored with, Episode 2 was a Yawnfest until the final 30 minutes, the chase though Coriscant was just 5th Element all over and the 1st Jango Fett fight was real fast. after those points it was love (nap) time

I will agree with the thought that Spiderman was a much better movie than AOTC was, but I'd still like to see AOTC again, anyway. Ep II did a good job of filling in some of the details that were missing from the Star Wars Universe but once again the fighting villian (Dooku) was underdeveloped which left me frustrated moreso than with a feeling of wanting more. Felt like Darth Maul all over again but at least Dooku will be returning.

Spiderman was just enjoyable all around, even the second and third times. I've always had a love for Superheroes, though, so you may consider my opinion on Spiderman a bit biased, that doesn't affect my view on the problems with Episode II.

lol at whoever said the acting in star wars was better than spiderman...although you could blame it on lucas for the dialogue...some of the scenes just made everyone in the audience laugh out loud when they were supposed to be "serious"

e.g. anakin's dream about his mom, padme falling off the clone ship and then getting back up as if nothing happened, basically all the love scenes

i agree with those who said spiderman's love scenes were kinda cheesy as well, but the flow of the movie was much better, star wars started out slow and built up speed at the end.

but as an overall package i enjoyed star wars more, which might not be the case if i had not seen all the previous movies which helps bring out all the nuances in this one : )

I haven't seen either yet.

You people that choose a movie based on the chick in it make me

btw- Dunst is better looking than Portman. Portman does nothing at all for me.

as good as the movie spiderman was for starters the greengoblin costume was very lame and retro with a cheesy shine....

felt like puking when i saw the young kirsten dunst in the wet scene with those grotesque over-sized boobs...and her cheese like yellow teeth

ending of the movie was very very lame.... none of the scenes gave me any adrenalin rush like star wars gave.....

DAMN YOU!!! There is no such thing as an "over-sized" boob! BTW, thats the only scene in Spiderham worth watching!

I'd see um both again (movies, not boobs). I liked AOTC better, but if spidey had a lightsaber, it would be close.
