-Anything with Marky Mark a.k.a Mark Wahlberg
-Anything with a professional athlete minus Jordan (I bow to his Airness)
-Any of "The Substitute" movies
-Any movie which was released straight to home video that was a sequel to a good movie released in the theaters
-"Boys and Girls" starring Freddie Prinz and that girl from "Meet Joe Black" (she's a fox though, rrrroooowwwwwrrr)
-The latest Chris Rock movie
-"The 3 Ninjas" series

"Three Kings" Good flick that mark wahlberg is in. Very thought provoking and anti-patriotic movie.

good movie i must admit but "Corruptor" was not a favorite (mainly because Chow Yun Fat dies in the end) and I thought "The Big Hit" was ludicrous :disgust:

I think the worst movies i have seen are:

Fire Down Below : can't believe i watched this @%#$, with Steven Seagal, it really sucked. My friend rented it and we watched it and i was ready to kill him by the time it wass done. What was amazing was that i sat through the entire thing.

Unbreakable: No plot, except for the ending, and that wasn't enough to keep this stinker afloat.

Mallrats: source of some interesting quotes, but no plot about a bunch of dumb teens running around a mall

The Jackal: lame ass action movie. Plot was so slow it was unbelievable. Acting was atrocious. Bruce willis was not at all convincing as a bad guy. Richard Gere as a pathetic wimp with a bad accent. The only thing I liked about the movie was the chaingun, and it was on screen for ten minutes. EECCHH

Waterboy : can't believe I wasted 1.5 hours on this utter crap. I could have derived more pleasure from playing with my asshole. The sad part is this movie was of the top grossing of 1998

Traffic: Talk about slow. I tried to find something positive in this movie but I couldn't. Highly overrated, slow as molasses plot, and long as hell. Doesn't even have a definite ending either! What a waste of time.


Shanghai Noon: I can't believe people liked this movie! I guess people were all hyped up about jackie chan after rush hr. Terrible acting, Owen Wilson was annoying as hell. Slow most of time and not even funny at all. I couldn't believe this was supposed to be a comedy. I took my brother to it and he was ready to kill me after it was over.

Krippendorf's Tribe : ties with Fire down Below for my worst all time movie. I got suckered into going to this #$*@ and boy was I mad. Horrific acting, lame ass plot, and it wasn't even funny, it was so pathetic that I wondered who in the hell in their right minds would make something atrocious as this

As a sidenote, movies that I didn't think were bad (not that i liked them, but they weren't bad) : Titanic, Godzilla, ID4, Forrest Gump, American Beauty, Scary movie

Also whoever said Heat sucked is smoking a big wad of crack

The Mexican was GAY.
Crouching Tiger was dragged out crap.
Unbreakable was gay.

I can't really think of anything recent I saw in theatres.. but.

Mission to Mars was GAY.
Red Planet was GAY.
Battlefield Earth was GAY.
Some other weird space flick that was on Payperview for a week on one channel (had to do with a blue giant star).

Waterboy has to be one of the funniest movies I have ever seen. Don't know what this world would be like without Adam Sandler, God bless him!

Not EVERYTHING with Mark Wahlberg in it is bad. Big Hit was cheesy but I enjoyed it. Three Kings was good. And I loved Perfect Storm.

Should add anything with Denise Richards. Sure she's good to watch but it hurts to see her try to act. She'd be great in silent films.

And not all Adam Sandler is bad. I liked Waterboy.

rushmore was disappointing. i rented it after reading all the glowing reviews. was there a point to the movie and i just missed it somehow?

but the movie i paid $8 for that was a waste of two hours of my life i'll never get back was 8MM. omg, that movie had NO redeeming value whatsoever. it tried to shock the audience a la se7en, but failed miserably. at the very end when nic cage finally confronts the killer, i was waiting for some revelation...freakin' ANYTHING to make the movie worthwhile. and all he revealed was that he was an ordinary joe that got his jollies from whacking people. :|

A quick look at the list reveals that most movies pretty much suck. That's why I'm not a moviegoer. Why is it so hard to write:

1. Action movies that give suspense but have a decent plot line?
2. Drama/romance movies that make us appreciate romance but don't cheese us to death?
3. Intelligent thrillers that don't have 100 holes in the story?


I've always wondered about those people who go to every movie that comes out and then says &quot;It's great!&quot; Yeah, great if you are easily convinced and moved by 5th grade logic, and 7th grade acting.

Keanu Reeves. The fact that this putz is an &quot;A-list&quot; celebrity says it all.
