Anyone who likes rap, Youtubers started using AI to recreate popular rap songs as 60-70s Motown songs. There are a damn lot, I know it's AI but it's gotta be more work than just telling some AI software to make the songs. And if I'm wrong and it's just as easy as "make Snoop Dog sound like Motown" I'm super impressed at what AI can do. A lot of these legit sound like an old soul song from the 70s. And the AI-generated pics of the artists are hilarious. There's too many being made and it started to get old to me, but I had fun for a solid hour listening to them. Just casually listening people wouldn't even think twice that these weren't real Motown songs from the 60's and 70's lol.

It is not a playlist. Just random songs i happened to hear and enjoy.
This music thread is about that is it not ? Posting music you like to present to others ?
I happened to have at least some fun left while listening to music. 99% of the time sober of course. Just Tea or coffee.
And when it comes to music genres, i do not stick to a single genre. I am not that limited. Sorry.

If you want others to post, you have to wait. Plain and simple.
Others have less time on our hands, like i also always used to have.
That is one of the reasons why the forum is a bit silent at times...

I really have to say that you are wanting to start a pointless discussion with pointless arguments.
Really try to be a bit more empathic and broaden your view of the world.

That's pretty amazing.

He also did a Yacht Rock version of a song, while I'd never heard the original. I went and listened to it. I'll be damned if AI didn't make a song that I'd mistake for The Doobie Brothers or some yacht Rock band from the 70s if I wasn't paying attention. The 3 AI generated guys in the thumbnail look like a real rock band my mom would have listened to when I was little. It's kind of scary to think this is still relatively new technology. I can't imagine what it will be like in 10 years.

So while I'm still a bit unclear about how the AI works, since there are like hundreds of these songs on YT. And this guy alone has dozens, I'm thinking it might be as easy as saying "AI make Snoop Dogs Drop It Like its Hot sound like a James Brown Song. And make a picture of Snoop looking like James Brown and make him overweight" The songs having background singers and bridges like real songs is impressive. I had no idea AI was so damn advanced. lol All I know is fat James Brown looking Snoop is one of the funniest things I've seen in ages.

It is just your opinion against mine. And i find mine to be more realistic.

I have strong empathic feeling that you are kind of limited to a single genre of music.
