This was actually the reason I opened this thread, I saw this Jeep at work and I thought it looks angry.

Jeeps (well Wranglers) are the Miata of SUVs, so its someone trying to insist that they aren't gay.
Even though I love the blue and white stripes, and bright green was a good look too, dark red looks pretty nice on Vipers. I can see why they went with it on the most recent one for the launch.
I saw a Jaguar i-Pace EV yesterday. It sort of reminded me of the Land Rover Evoque, how it looks smooshed on top, except the Jaguar really had a Looney Toons anvil dropped on it, then got stretched out like taffy. I was surprised at how LONG it looked in-person lol.

The iPace is so awkward looking. There's even more awkward styling details when you see one up close in person, like the taillights are actually squared off in a weird way. I think with some tweaks it wouldn't be bad.
The Ars car writer is...I stopped bothering with his articles. He praised the looks of the iPace but said the Mach E looks bulbous. The iPace would look better if they'd gone the route Ford did, where they blacked out the roof in a way to give it more room/practicality whilst making it look like it has a swoopier roofline. Jaguar did the total opposite, made a swoopy roofline that they tried to make seem like its more squared off like an SUV.
Its like a reverse mullet, party up front, business in the back. Actually I think that was a similarly ridiculed hairstyle from the UK (where it's like weird stringy extended bangs but then short in the back?
