No, you can find lapdogs that will lick the president's ass on command, like you. You don't keep borrowing when you're broke, you don't extend your credit line when you can't even pay your current bills. WTF is wrong with you people?

Ahh yes. All the legions of economists of all ideological persuasions from across the world are ass licking lapdogs, but the guy with a bachelor's degree who has been wrongly predicting hyperinflation for five years, predicting that gold would hit $5,000 an ounce (lol, how's that coming?), etc.

Why are you so aggressively ignorant of not only basic economics, but the direct experience of the last five years? You can see just how fragile your world view is as you fly into a rage as soon as someone calls you out on your bullshit.

so if a collection of individuals(gov't) borrow(when broke) to maintain spending habbits it's ok?

Individuals can neither print money nor live forever. On the other hand, governments can do both of these things. Hence, it is not appropriate to make the comparison.

so a minority of the GOP is allowed to do what they want? Talk about a bunch of spoiled GOP'ers acting like a 3 year old pitching a fit.

ACA passed, it was upheld by the SCOTUS, get over it and move on. They can't even come up with an alternative.

And I see the usual far right trolls are out in force making up "facts" to try and justify this....typical.

Those are plans we pay for, they're products that come separately out of your wages.

Medicare and Medicaid are both funded partially out of payroll taxes and partially out of general fund revenues. So is SSI and recently, unemployment.

You seriously need to stop talking about things you understand so little about.

Why did Obama vote against the debt ceiling then change direction so quickly? Because borrowing is easier than cutting, and fuck paying it back in his lifetime, he'll be dead when his grandkids have to deal with the collapse, when we won't even be able to pay the interest on our debt.

I'm completely right, you're just a party line dipshit who's never had an independent thought in his life. Pathetic.

I think we need a wholesale change out of the entire system. I'm not voting for anyone who has held office in the last 8 years .

None of which involved similar demands of this type, as we already covered.

The last CR that Reid rejected late last night had all the funding requested and only moved the tax mandate back a year and removed the subsidy for congress’s coverage. It didn’t defund it. It didn’t repeal it. People were still able to get Obamacare. Reid / Obama refused to budge an inch, GOP gets the bad rap

Or just took the politically convenient (at the time) vote, like many politicians do. If something has the votes to pass already, you might just vote 'no' to make a political statement, even if you want it to pass.

No you did not.

When I asked you for links to backup your statements you started name calling.

How dare you call others out when you do not back up your own statements.

Liar.

I personally believe the founding fathers intended the government to work with no debt. If we read some of the writings about banks, it should be clear the founding fathers feared banks taking control of our money.

I was wondering when you were going to pop in and tell me I was wrong.

You made the claim, now back it up, post your own links.

This from the guy who was asked over and over again to support his position and refused.

Here's a quick one: (My edit: from Alexander Hamilton)

A national debt, if it is not excessive, will be to us a national blessing.

End of story.

Specious comparisons to government and personal spending ... check
Uncultured personal insults when not agreeing with someone. ... check.
"Everything burns" libertarian mentality ... check
Foaming at the mouth outrage... check

Just no racism, sexism or bigotry (yet)

The individual mandate is a necessary function for the law to work. How hard is this to understand?
