n0cmonkey, that is very well said. I have always being a firm believer in equal input into a relatiionship. I am sick a tired of girls going the ways they like to do and expect me to do the same 24/7. why can't they go down to the computer shop with me? play lan with me? or even read a science magazine (this last point about the science magazine is not that obvious, but not many people read them every day or so. However, the point being, why can't they put up with what i do and show some respect?)If we are supposed to be ourselves why are we not supposed to talk about things we are interrested in? If girls are interrested in us wouldnt they put up with some of the crap we find interresting? Hell, if I have to sit through one more conversation about tampons, periods, women's rights, feminism, make up, what clothes to wear to which party, girlish cars like eclipses or civics, what some guy some girl likes but cant have because that skank in biology already has a mouthfull of him, any conversation about ovaries, or any of the other inane crap I hear about from women without them politely putting up with me talking about the new computer I got for 5 minutes without some snide remark about how boring the topic is or how stupid I am for having more than one computer I will break something.
To sum up my mini-rant, we put up with your BS, put up with ours.
Having said this however, if boys are trying to chat up with a girl, then i think that he has to adapt to the first. then, after a while, if she dosent show you respect for what you like to do, then....
If a girl knows me well enough to ask what I did the previous day, she knows me well enough to be interrested for 2 minutes. Of course, if she really doesnt care she shouldnt ask.
