What order would you rate the star wars movies?

I was really disappointed by Attack of the Clones. Knowing that Anakin and Padme gets together way in advance really does kill the excitement of their little "courtship." So 2/3 of the movie was basically wasted on something we all know the outcome to already. I need to see more action!!!

ESB has to be the absolute best star wars movie. the best battle scenes, character development, plot, first time we see Yoda phantom menace gets dead last mostly because of Jar Jar :|

wo0 ty ElMono ! so i was pretty much right except for the last 90's, was late 70's...

also almost all of you rated AOTC higher than Phantom Menace!!!!!!!!! WHY!
i agree with subzeroX!! i thought it was far better, with a better story line, acting, MORE ACTION!!!!! And the whole darth Maul made it somewhat unique where other than yoda's fight in AOTC i found there to be nothing unique... ALSO what episode 1 had going for it over episode 2 was that it was the first new star wars in close to 30 years so it was exciitng and plenty of nostalgia to go around... AOTC wasn't a big suprise or a leap since everything was already done/shown in ep. 1.. I found that in ep 1 they tried to display all the new alien races, where in ep 2. even though clearly there were new races, they were just in the background.
