What PC game demos blew you away?

++ I played the hell out of that one and learned all the secret areas. The cheat codes worked in the demo too.

The Doom 3 demo was awesome.

The original call of duty demo made me preorder that game instantly. I had now idea it would years later turned into the most whored out watered down POS franchise in gaming history.

The crysis demo was also quite mind blowing. I still find myself playing the first level of that game and then uninstalling it because the rest isn't as much fun.

UT2K4 was the best one. It was like a full game in itself and I played it for quite a while. Best demo that I ever tried by a very large margin.

Yeah, same here. I played the demo a ton but never bought the game for some odd reason. Great game... at least the demo was

Agreed. Played the demo WAY longer than I play even full games today. Took me months until I convinced my parents to buy the full version for me.

Halo PC. The demo had a pretty huge online presence since it wasn't time-limited or anything and even though it only had one map, it was Blood Gulch, which was all anyone ever played anyway. I played lots of Halo on the Xbox, but I did quite a bit on PC, but only with the demo.

The Fear demo for sure was one that I played and told myself this is awesome.

There is another game that I can't remember the title of that had multiplayer in the demo and I ended up just playing the demo multiplayer for many months without getting the game.
